  1. So the notes aren’t as detailed as they usually are and that’s because she ended up talking to Salo’s parents for quite some time. For those who don’t know, Mr and Mrs Salo are absolutely lovely people. They’re held in the highest esteem by the other players’ parents, so it’s no surprise that Salo is the locker room favourite. Anyways… -Leb jogging but limping. 44 8 4 - rehab HL19 in red Sharp in grey In red….. 5 42 14 1 11 13 2 7 11 3 9 19 17 32 37 35 20 24 31 Ed wearing #9 jumper
  2. Training at Casey today. I’m not there but my buddy will send me notes soon enough. Apologies in advance @Roost it far but it may not be by the 4pm deadline. A couple of things she told me in a phone call which I had to cut short, though… The Bison in a red vest with the firsts. Charles SpargiPants running laps, not training with the others. Luker also running at pace and looking fitter and healthier than a week ago. Judd ‘Knuckle’ McVee running well and looking very happy. TC rucking well. Training hard. Leb… … that’s when I had to hang up. But I’m sure she’ll include him in her notes.
  3. Exactly. Sam McClure. Enough said.
  4. I reckon they’ll let us know closer to the time. Maybe if/when anyone hears anything about it they can pull up this thread and post. I certainly will if I hear of any plans. Hopefully you’re not unwell this year.
  5. Which was a good decision. I can see him going straight into the firsts.
  6. This is what our club doctor said yesterday. But I find it interesting that on Sunday he was on crutches with his foot heavily bandaged, mainly around his big toe, but yesterday there was no bandaging, no crutches, with just a little square patch, like a bandaid, on the back of his heel. He was walking around fine.
  7. Nah way too far, but I have a buddy who does. She’ll likely send me notes later 👍🏽 edit: not training at Casey today it seems. Well, thus far. They may be planning an arvo session. It’s not listed on the website so who knows?
  8. Not disputing any of that. I was simply asking Werridee if he was serious when he said, “Lose this and it’s season over.”
  9. Ah but you didn’t say that. Once again, you said, “Lose this and it’s season over.”
  10. I never said we were. More to the point: you think our season is over if we lose this Saturday? You seriously think we’re done… for the entire season… and it’s still the month of March? Just to remind you of what you said four hours ago: “Lose this and it’s season over.” Your words. Do you stand by this?
  11. You do know we’re only at round three, right? I’m sure this is what Lions fans were saying last season, well, the throw the towel in too early fans, anyways.

This morning before training Troy came over to the fence and he brought up Sunday’s match. Before today we’ve only ever talked briefly, and about our kids etc., so I was surprised when he cut to the chase. It was clear he was getting a feel for how fans in general saw the match. Understandably, I’m not gonna share the convo, suffice to say I’m glad it was me with whom he was speaking and not someone like Werridee (although I suspect Werridee wouldn’t be so scathing were he face-to-face with Troy). I spoke with him on behalf of the Demon Army, as was the case with Goody. I respect Troy for wanting to see the match from the perspective of a fan. PS: lest I be accused of embellishing or flat-out lying as has happened previously, there was another Demonlander there for the entire convo.
  14. Yes, many did go through the middle. Some hit the post, some went through for a minor score.
  15. Trained well today. Seems really happy and like someone who’s confident they’ll be right for Saturday 😉
  16. Where’s the validity in your question? You attempted humour and got cheap laughs from likeminded posters, so good on you!
  17. The mood was good, lots of energy and positivity. It’s not a serious session so yeah they were happy and having fun, for the most part; while they were still buoyant during goal kicking practice, it was a productive time and they took it seriously. edit: Max was as playful as everyone else. At one point he got Maysie in a headlock and called him a (rhymes with runt) while knuckling the top of his head. 😂
  18. Not useless See the post above yours 👍🏽
  19. The flush runs and captain’s runs are always at Gosch’s and are never serious sessions. They’re basically a short break in between for example gym, skills training (indoors). The serious sessions are at Casey. Besides, they did goal kicking practice today.
  20. Give it a rest mate.
  21. Leb should be right for round 4 Maysie a chance for this week Jai looking to join in main training within two weeks Luker improving ahead of time, looking at three or so more weeks rehabbing

Whose opinion on this matters? Max’s.

If Max is ok with it, everyone else should be too. I hope this shuts people up.
  24. Exactly right… only the name has changed. But I make no secret of the fact that I used to post under a different name. I wasn’t able to keep my old account with a new username for reasons that aren’t yours nor anyone else’s business, otherwise I would’ve.
  25. Mistake #1 taking anything QD says seriously. 😂 Loveya QD 😘
