  1. I’m referring specifically to this comment of yours… “If they come out and play like pussys two weeks in a row and AGAIN against the Pies you can forget any resurrection in 2026 and i'd very much doubt we'd see Buckley coming anywhere near us.” … and its implications. Now you’re saying… “Also an experienced coach like Buckley would be basing his decision on a body of work throughout the year.” … which is what you should’ve (but didn’t) say in the first place.
  2. Do you seriously think Buckley would base such an important decision on the result of one game, or even two? And do you seriously think losing to Collingwood - or as you put it, playing like pusseys [sic] - means writing off 2026?
  3. Out: one long sentence In: punctuation
  4. I wonder if Judd has heard it yet.
  5. ROUND 1 MOTY VOTE FOR TAYLA
  6. Seems Tay is A-OK… Promo shot today.
  7. Maysie is one-eyed. I mean, literally. His left eye is so swollen he can’t open it. It looks awful and when I told him it looks awful he said, “Yep. Chol got me… again.” ☹️
  8. @bluey was miffed that Kozzie gave his jumper to Luke Breust. Firstly, Koz said he did it because he admires and respects Breust very much. Secondly, it’s Kozzie’s jumper to do with as he so desires. The players all have three home jumpers which are rotated throughout the season. At the end of the season one jumper is given to the player’s sponsor, one is auctioned and the third is the player’s to keep. Koz chose to give his to Breust. More Uniform Fun Facts… With every other jumper (away, clash, ANZAC etc.) the players have two jumpers in rotation. At season’s end one is auctioned and the player keeps the other. The one person is responsible for the laundering of all jumpers, shorts, socks, training tops, the lot. He’s Jake the property manager and this is only one of his many tasks. He uses the laundry at AAMI which is a shared laundry. This isn’t about the Club saving money, it’s about the Club worrying if they hired a laundry service there’s a chance some articles will go missing (not stolen, but lost). And the burning question (for me anyways): why does Kozzie wear such big shorts? In particular, huge away (white) shorts. That’s because he prefers them that way. He also has his jumpers custom-fitted. Again, his choice.
  9. They have and Clarrie’s team won. Salo was the match winner for them.
  10. AMW is also here. He’s stretching and his recovery is coming along great guns. His killer smile is on show today. It could stop world wars. Everyone is buoyed by the Casey win. The seniors are so glowing in their praise for the Casey boys, super proud of them and it’s genuine.
  11. No Casey boys here, except for Sesto and Hendo who are both confident they’ll be playing in week one of the finals I wanted to ask Hendo about his groin and hoped it didn’t sound suss. His reply was “it’s all over the place at the moment.” So yeah, he won in the sounds suss stakes 🤭
  12. Here’s the thing… I didn’t even get my phone out in the rooms. Others did, but mine stayed in my pocket until it didn’t and instead somehow ended up not in my pocket. 🤷‍♀️ Anyways, nothing that warrants deleting since it was my regular phone, not my burner phone 😉
  13. You know what’s fun? Going into the rooms after the match, seeing the boys sing the song and everyone’s smiling and laughing. You know what’s NOT fun? Being on the train heading home and realising you don’t have your phone coz you left your phone in the rooms. All good though, it didn’t dampen the joy of last night’s AFLW win and today’s Casey win. As the portly former AFL Grand Final entertainer says, two outta three ain’t bad. 😃
  14. Some sort of eye injury. She was taken to hospital but by all accounts she should be ok to play on Saturday.
  15. We just had an awesome win. Why are you so belligerent? Ease up on folks a little. Geez Louise.
  16. A fellow spectator and I were watching Box Hill warm up and both were struck by the height of many of their players. Big bastards everywhere 😅
  17. I was standing next to the bench because I like hearing Taylor tell the runner what to tell the players. If the runner is already out there he tells the player who’s about to go on to pass on messages. Very interesting. With about five minutes to go Taylor told Big Fish (WV28) to let them all know to ice the game. He said for them not to take any risks.
  18. Jeffo off with a right foot issue, big toe. Grimacing in pain. They’re taping it up now He’s on the stationary bike now. He said it’s still sore but not broken. Phew
  19. Heaps of people here. It’s sunny with no wind. Nice to see many of the firsts here.
  20. Chappy… Not El Chapo 😝
  21. Actually you can be forgiven for misspelling his name; even his own cheer squad spelled it incorrectly on a milestone banner a couple of years ago. It read “Bruest” instead of “Breust.” They shoulda just gone with “Punky” like they did yesterday 😅
  22. I think @Meggs does this (?) It’s difficult to write up a report when you’re a cheer squad member; as with the men’s, I spend a lot of game time apologising to folks for almost taking their eye out with my flag or concussing them with my flagpole 😁
  23. I left just before halftime. Did I miss anything? 😅 Thank goodness for our W team. So proud of them and it was awesome to sing the song, we’d almost forgotten the lyrics.
  24. Soooo good to sing our song! Super proud of our team, they did us proud. The atmosphere was crazy good, and as cold as it is we didn’t feel it… too much to be excited about! PS fourth Red Bull wearing off… about to hit the wall… hard. 😅
