But not surprising at all when you factor in their fixture (12 games at home), their ground (weird-shaped and nobody else gets to train on it), their kick-arze facilities ($ was never a problem) and call it conspiratorial, but their ability and wherewithal to get superstars without breaching the soft cap restraints. Just an observation: I reckon Tom Hawkins is modelling his commentary style on Jack Riewoldt. Same inflection, cadence etc. except with Riewoldt it’s natural, with Hawkins it’s forced. I said it was an observation, I never said it was an interesting observation 😜
