I think we need to look at the big picture re finals home ground advantage. The GF is played at the MCG every year (except last year and this year), it's our own fault we haven't taken advantage of this in the past like Hawthorn and Richmond have.

Surely if the GF in in Perth and players have to go over a quarantine - say at the Joondalup resort - they will be able to take their immediate families with them if they want to, so the family members can at attend the ground?

I think if Geelong earns the right to a home final it should be at Kardinia Park if fans can't go.

Yes since he moved back there he's been averaging around 20 possessions but it's only about 7 games so doesn't really pollute his career averages much.

100% agree. It's a great stadium. The top 4 will be 3 Victorian teams and one SA team - it's highly likely the GF teams will come from that set. It's reasonable to drive to Adelaide, Covid permitting, and having GFG I would definitely do it. If it's in Perth I won't be going.

Plus imagine if we won the only GF ever played in Perth in front of thousands of WC supporters - that would almost compensate for not being there.
