That's funny. I use it as proof that society is doing it wrong and I'm the only one who knows what's going on.
-
Hell yes. I've been calling for it for years now. He was a cancer on the club as big as any we've had in years.
-
Why (y)?
-
I'm hoping he can get through at least one game this year without kicking it out on the full.

I think that if the rule exists, players should be penalised for not going off when they obviously should (like blood streaming from the forehead).
-
By "This board," I immediately thought you meant Demonland. If we're relying on Demonland's stability, then I think we're in real trouble!
-
Could you have possibly picked a more FIGJAM picture?
-
We matched St Kilda in Inside 50s in our third practice match of 2013, and yet we lost. While that may be because our mids have crappy disposal, the more likely reason was because our forwards didn't position themselves to properly take advantage of the ball coming in.

Agreed. The real "dis or dat?" question (for those who ponder such hypotheticals) is between Toumpas and Wines, and at this stage I'd pick Wines (even though I still back Toumpas for best 1st year Melbourne player).

If only his foot was a clearance player.

His funeral will just be a three-hour loop of that footage accompanied by Benny Hill music.

Gawn by a mile.

No, I'm just freaked out that you needed to use three words to spell "barbecue".

? ? ?

Oops. Did I accidentally open up Wikipedia instead of Demonland?
-
You too. If anyone you know ever has problems, I hope you don't give up on them so easily.
-
We don't need to give up, ban things or hand out worthless bits of paper to help people.
-
Stats are like people. Some will tell you one thing, and some will tell you another. Get the right people in the same room and you can fix any problem.
-
It barely sounds like these people are exercising any free-will at all. Humans can be conditioned into doing all manner of things that aren't good for us, but it isn't right to just stand back and go "welp, free-will says I can't interfere so I wash my hands of the whole thing and let them go on wrecking their lives." We live in a community, and with that comes the responsibility to help those around us (friend, stranger and enemy alike) realize what's good for them and what's not. Banning things left and right is not the answer, but neither is standing back and doing nothing. People have the right to throw their lives away, but we just have to make sure they know they're doing it.

The correct answer is Isaac Weetra

That's a good point you make about not-for-profit organisations using pokies, but I still reckon that if pokies were in libraries the footy clubs wouldn't be into them so hard. The fact is that footy is watched in pubs, and a lot of pubs have pokies. It stands to reason then that pokies are a logical revenue stream for football clubs to get into. I'm of the opinion that everyone should pretty have the choice to do whatever they want (with the obvious caveat that it shouldn't impinge on other people), so what I said isn't a complaint so much as an observation.
-
Just because it's legal, doesn't mean it's right. We're involved in pokies because of the culture surrounding footy - not because we're so keen on giving people their god-given right to gamble if they want.

That is an unbelievable amount of money [censored] away on vending machines that don't give you anything.
-
I think Gina Rinehart and Clive Palmer are in the "shouldn't be here at all category."
-
So, what? Do you want to get rid of coaches? Either they're here for a good reason and we let them do their jobs, or they shouldn't be here at all and we get rid of them. Actually now that I think about it, that seems like a pretty good philosophy for life.
