CHANGES : Rd 08 vs St. Kilda
TMAC played well as 2nd tall and Weid stepped up to play ruck/forward position. I hope both boys continue to put pressure on each other. It's not about who is permanent best 22, more about who's in form at a particular time.

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I dont think it's written in stone that players named in the 22 cant be dropped. If dunstan is worth his salt he'll be able to rotate through the guts, forward or back and gut run like the rest. If not, bedford in and ANB taking more midfield minutes. Out: Lever, Viney, Tommy BBQ In: Smith, Brown, Dunstan/Bedford (in or medisub) --------------------------------------------- FB: Hunt May Petty HB: Brayshaw Smith Bowey C: Jordon Petracca Langdon HF: Pickett Weid ANB FF: Fritta Brown Spargo Follow: Gawn Clarry Sparrow Int: Harmes Jacko Dunstan Rivers

At least the boys aren't injured, Lever especially had me worried

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
This stuck out to me after Green pinched the mark in a pack of GWS players. Wish him all the best though. Funny thinking back that many thought Freo shafted us with that trade deal. We clearly got the better end of the stick in hindsight.

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Even if Weed comes out I think its safe he's in our future. He's shown he's developed a lot and hopefully will continue. Either way we have to field our best 22 each week. Begrudgingly, weed out Brown in.

Doggies have no soul, front runners all day Kangas showing real grit

CHANGES: Rd 05 vs GWS
Players (petracca) will simply not be rested - Burges philosophy is to push players past limits, not to rest them when they're a bit sore. They'll manage loads as needed in training.

CASEY: Rd 03 vs Williamstown
I believe Rosman was a winger in his draft year, and played there at Casey until being moved recently
-
Toby Bedford, Kade Chandler and Bailey Laurie…
I'm very happy to put cheap picks into our developmental system and ship them off for a profit Making the Dees 22 is no easy feat and not being able to crack it does not mean they aren't quality players, I guarantee recruiters are looking at cheap options in our 2s to join their 1s.

Finn Emile-Brennan
We made a lot of our trades exploiting the points system. Don't think clubs would be willing accept round 2 and 3 bundled picks for 1st rounders without the point system.

CHANGES: Rd 04 vs Port Adelaide
Eventually Tommo and Hunt will all be pushed out once Petty, Lever, and Salem return. Smith retained as Gus is placed back on the wing and a lower string mid/HB like Riv, JJ or Sparrow etc. is dropped FB Petty May Smith HB Bowey Lever Salem Smith is the most athletic of the bunch and gives us a lot of versatility to cover smalls, mid forwards and 3rd talls. Hibbo is probably better than Riv at this stage but both are quality depth for any future injuries at HB. Regardless, I doubt Riv will be dropped for Hibbo except for a forced change.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Essendon
IMO we only got smashed at centre bounce when our B-team of Viney, Sparrow and ANB were in the middle

CASEY: Rd 02 vs Essendon
Howes looks good hitting backs and crumbing well

NON-MFC: Round 3, 2022
To be going life and death with Doggies and Hawks so early in the season is not good news for the baggers, will slow down big time at the half way point of the season

Big big missed holding the ball, lucky it was touched off the boot
