Our own Gus Brayshaw had to be effectively taken out of the midfield and learn a completely new way of attacking the ball because he habitually went head first into the contest, leading to an extensive concussion history. I absolutely agree that this action is extremely high risk and should be actively pushed out of the game.

Finn Emile Brennan also has a game at Casey this week, although we overlooked him in the draft, could be one to watch still.

Kynan and another elite mid pick could potentially set us up perfectly for the next era. Could have immediate impact at half forward or back also.

Hibbo will need to be managed throughout the year, and Riv, Bowey and McVee are all in great form, selectors will have a lot of trouble squeezing in all that talent into the backline. I also think we're doing a much better job at bringing our players back from injury so I only expect Salem to really need one VFL game to have him ready for the firsts.

I think Smith has been in the best form in the VFL. I think he should get the shot. Very upset for Petty, hope to see him back soon.

Salo needs more hype, he will compliment our defenders perfectly. I suspect it will take him 2-3 weeks to have him fit and ready for the firsts. He is the perfect person to step into Hibbos role, whose body is not holding up well this year. IMO this is the ideal mix...
