Saw Bill Laurie next to Sparrow in training video's the club posted, looks the same height but with much bigger lower body than Sparrow. This kid is 100% a mid so it's no wonder he didn't look great as a small forward at AFL level.

In Clarry, out Bowey, Gus to go behind the ball at half back. Hibbo has been great but I like the 3rd tall defender.

Frustrating game but we competed very strongly. The defense looked great and overall the team effort was there. A bit less bombing and some better set shock kicking and this game is closer to a 30-40 whipping. I love seeing our half backs coming up to attack in the game. Rivers, Bowey </3 and Salem look so dangerous entering inside 50. Max is also got some groove back and looked much better flying for marks. The best games for Langdon and Hunter too. Hunter had some inspiring defensive efforts and both of them got off the chain with their run and carry.

Smith was leading up to the ball really well at Casey, and has a great set shot too. I think he'll have a great game.

Our own Gus Brayshaw had to be effectively taken out of the midfield and learn a completely new way of attacking the ball because he habitually went head first into the contest, leading to an extensive concussion history. I absolutely agree that this action is extremely high risk and should be actively pushed out of the game.
