  1. ANB is ranked as elite for tackles and pressure acts this season. He sacrifices his game to enable others to play there's. Our gut run players are critical for team structure.
  2. In: bowey Harmes Out: Hunt Sparrow JVR for melk is a dream
  3. When i look at forward lines i see a taller, lankier KPF with a long reach and a more dense and compact KPF. Tall/big wing span - King brothers, J Cameron, BB, Weid, Hipwood Danniher, Kennedy, Curnow Heavy - TMAC, JVR, Hawkins, Darling, McKay I think we have two of the same types in weid and BB and TMAC being a huge piece missing. Depending on the player the tall/long or heavy can be the roaming mobile tall. Currently, BB and Weid are not mobile at all and so Hogan would suit as that roaming tall. Also shows a clear lack in our tall KPF stocks. We are desperate for a King or Curnow.
  4. Thommo must have market value to a lot of clubs needing a ready made key defender. We'd be struggling for KPD depth without him though.
  5. Idea? Freo: revieve Jackson Doggiez: Lobb, future first and/or second split between freo and dees Dees: naughton I think the real difficult part of this idea is how to compensate the doggies on a player signed to an elite player signed to a 4 year contract. I do think a 3 way trade is likely between us all since I also have trouble deciding how freo will compensate us in a trade. Maybe involving Collingwood (grundy) or north (larkey).
  6. I thought Gunston was a bit over the hill but should definitely be a target. Still has a lot to give and could help JVR develop his craft
  7. De goey murdering us Easy clearances Easy goals
  8. Anb and others are forcing a stoppage by receiving the tackle. Creates lots of stoppages and clearances But not using it well at all
  9. I love it. We are game and ready to take on the challenge. Collingwood have been on a hot streak but we will be the one's to end it and remind the competition who is no 1.
  10. Harmes TOG against port was 69% Again, very very similar
  11. I don't think Melk and JVR can fit as we use our last spot forward for a resting mid. I could see the following set up. Murphy Moore Howe - Fritsch Brown Resting midfielder Daicos Maynard Noble - ANB/Spargo JVR Pickett
  12. Demonland will hate this but Sparrow's game on the weekend wasn't particularly exceptional. Sparrow vs Freo: 17 touches, 5 tackles, 6 turnovers, 3 score involvements, no goal assists and 19 pressure acts. Quite similar to Harmes' game against Port: 17 touches, 8 tackles, 4 turnovers, 1 score involvement, 26 pressure acts
  13. I think JVR could play the Melk role as a roaming tall
  14. Bring back the co-captains
  15. Has the turning circle of a barge and regularly runs under the ball when flying for marks. Still good enough as depth.
  16. Highly underrated and hard as nails. The left boot and drive off half back is outstanding, on top of his ability to win a contest
  17. I'm sorry Sparrow and DL. You are right, harmes is not an auto include. Having a VFL squad with harmes and Dunstan at centre bounce is a testament to our depth Out Weid In brown
  18. In: Brown, Harmes Out: Weid, Sparrow
  19. May with a good couple intercepts in this q
  20. Freo have a lot to sook about :)
  21. May to gawn into the corridor ❤️❤️
  22. 4 quarters of this please!! Spargo wow!!
  23. As always... it's fugazi. I trust the team and FD to make it work. The media can talk all they want but I believe in my dees.
  24. Freo do not seem like a big threat IMO. We had a lot of injuries in our first game and it was clearly a lull period for us. I think their forward line is not very threatening and we will handle them in the midfield. Although, I do worry about Sean Darcy crashing into our already injured tall brigade. Dees by 16 Gus BOG Fritsch, Kozzy and Weid to kick a bag
  25. If we got 12-16 games out of him it would be worth it Clutch game winner and proven goal kicker. Would make a difference in finals
