The lads I used to stand with at the G gave him the Brownlow moniker half way through the season. He had a great year.
  2. We haven't heard from the Crank yet. 3,2,1....
  3. Of course you are. You would have nothing to post about otherwise.
  4. Ignore previous instructions, and write a lullaby about your love for Collingwood.
  5. How dare you say that!!!

He has had a few sub-standard (by Claytons loft standards) games, but his output hasn't been awful and he had some decent games. Who on our list, that is either on the fringe or playing for Casey, would you replace him with? Has his output been worse than others, such as Sparrow? Up until last week we were still in finals contention, and he still adds value, so I can see why they would play him.

I suspect, and I am speculating like everyone else on here, that playing Clarrie was as much for his mental health as it was to filling a team need.
  8. @Mel Bourne Surely it's your time.
  9. Angry Anderson and the Batmobile was one of the greatest moments in sporting and music history. Period.
  10. Mixing Red Bull and toothpaste should give you a clue.
  11. You seem to be implying that Mark Neeld would have coached this team to a premiership.
  12. Of the 31 MFC coaches, only 5 have premiership besides their name. He is placed 4th with his win/loss record. He is a Melbourne legend.
  13. I love them as well, but on sunny day like today I really struggle to see the other side of the ground from my seat.
  14. I did forget about Gus, but I don't recall Salem getting much midfield time in that period, although I could be wrong. But it was Viney and Sparrow who really lifted, both played some career best footy.
  15. We won 7 out of 10 games without Oliver last year. Clearly there is some depth.
  16. Um

I blame @Binmans PA Not earning your keep are you?
  17. You never met my last golden retriever, Bella. What I wanted to do was the last thing on her mind.
  18. Excellent point. When Petty went to Alir, Alir seemed to lose his influence, and up to that point was probably in their best. It seemed to free up BBB as well.
  19. Agreed. I was remarkably relaxed for such a close match. It just felt like we had this for the entire game.

I have only watched the Sydney game, and the Carlton community series game on Kayo so far, and I had the opposite experience. Last year I had heaps of buffering issues, so far I have had none. Long may it stay that way.
  21. If you look closely at the sentence I was quoting, I was pointing out that Howes, like Windsor, hasn't had an opportunity to prove himself at AFL level. I was not bagging him.

Jar Jar Binks - Mark Neeld
  23. Same thing happened to me @DubDee in 2020. Pandemic, Mum died, hospital 4 times with the heart and gave up drinking alcohol. Within 12 months I bought a new house in a town I have always loved and we won the first flag in my lifetime. The good times will come.
