To those who saw our praccy game V's Sydney and Bulldogs, what are your thoughts and opinions on these 2 boys. What did you like about them? What do they need to work on? What positions did they mostly play? Is one more ready than the other? Have a feeling one of these 2 boys will be selected tonight due to a few injuries. Feedback appreciated as these 2 guys are hopefully going to be 10 year excitement machines for the club!

Not that I've seen any games, but wasn't he one of our better players in the intra club game, kicked 2 goals against brisbane and was our BOG until he got injured last week? If anything, I'd say he's been one of our better players this pre-season. He's a monty for round 1.

So we went 1-3 pre season. I think the ultimate result would be 4 wins with an average losing margin of 20 points. A massive improvement from last year but at the same time we get the first 2 picks of the 09 draft - short term pain, long term gain. If we had a decent fwd line we could sneak 8 wins, but I can't see it happening. I love YM's enthusiasm, but it's not gonna happen this year with an impotent fwd line.

Round 1 gig?

If anyone deserves to play 22 games this year, it's Moloney. He loves the club - you only have to see the vision of him belting out the club song last week, in a meaningless practice match!

On paper it's impotent. Miller - Leading goal kicker of 2008 with about 28 Bate - Kicks 1 bag per year Newton - Barely kicks a goal a game Davey - Plays more up the ground Aussie - Good for 2 a game Sylvia - Inconsistent Robbo - Injured The loss of Neitz and Robbo was surely one of the reasons we won only 3 games last year. Bruce is a proven goal kicker and could be utilised more up forward.

Did I mention he kicked 34 goals in 2004. 8 goals more than our leading goal kicker last year.
