  1. And Pedersen in the leadership group.Played in more wins at North in 2011 then Melbourne did under the Neeld/Craig glory years.
  2. There is no doubt Strauss is an elite user of the footy. Seen him in enough senior games to back this is up. Does he have any other attributes or point of difference to make him a bona-fide league player. Genuine question. I really hope Strauss makes it. We invested a top 20 pick in him.
  3. Anyone know what's wrong with Fitzpatrick? His injury has gone under the radar and un-reported in the media.
  4. I'd actually take Rich over Watts any day of the week.
  5. For a so called dead eye d*ick, Tappy has a goal kicking accuracy of 11.13 over his career.Needs work in that area.
  6. I disagree with this. After the St.kilda game last year, I started a thread stating that Garland was the best player at the club, even better than N Jones.the fact that he just got pipped by Jones in the Bluey suggested to me that the MFC also highly rates him.
  7. I get the feeling he'll give it 1 last go and if he breaks down again, then he'll retire at the end of the year.
  8. Putting on my "glass half full" hat on, 6 weeks takes him to March 7th, the weekend of the Hawthorn game. Maybe a hit-out in the VFL on Mar 15 and then right for round 1?
  9. Mahoney hinted that Hogan may be back in full training today. I wonder if that eventuates.
  10. Whoever recruited Strauss over Zaharakis and Bennell over Sloane in the same draft.
  11. Couldn't be any worse than the 2011 vintage of Tynan, Taggert and Sellar.
  12. Who reckons we should've picked up Freeman instead?
  13. On a side note, can anyone put togethor a forward line without all the rehab participants at the moment (Clark, Dawes, Hogan, Fitzpatrick, Kent) HF Tapscott Pederson Howe F Byrnes Watts JKH Got that was painful to do.
  14. Did Whispering Jack mention Fitz was recovering from a hammy last week? Or was that Jamar?
  15. Yeah you'd have to say round 1 is not looking good for Clark. However it looks brighter for Hogan and Dawes for round 1. Surely a 2 pronged attack of Hogan and Dawes will be a better option than the most recent combo of Sellar and Watts (who did kick 4). I think we're a sniff to beat St Kilda and GWS even without Clark, as long as Hogan and Dawes are playing.
  16. My take from that article is the following: Hogan will return to training by Friday at the earliest. Should be available for the Richmond game on Feb 14. Dawes will return to training by Friday next week. 4 weeks of full training should give him a chance for the Geelong game on Feb 28. Should play Hawthorn on March 8 and be fit for round 1 V St Kilda. Clark - who the hell knows. I don't think the club does....
  17. I reckon that's because nobody has McKenzie in their best 22. I think he'll play 22 games by default (if fit) this year due to him being our number 1 tagger.
  18. The days of being a mediocre team. I miss them Anyone realise that between round 15 2010 and round 17 2011 we had a 11-11-1 winning record under Bailey.
  19. Add Bernard Vince being seen in the Chris Dawes Rehab centre this week. I don't think it's been a very good pre season in terms of numbers on modified programs.
  20. What happened to Bernard Vince? Was one of our better trainers pre Xmas, and now he's in the Chris Dawes Rehab facility.
  21. Agree with that. I'd be really furious if our St Kilda and/or GWS games were at the MCG and the HUN still tipped us o be 0-5.
  22. Anyone have a rough estimation when Clark will be returning to full training?
  23. Will Neeld copy and paste Collingwood's 2010 premiership game plan to Carey, like he did with us?
  24. Hopefully he can improve his 15% win/loss record with his new role.
  25. How's Jamar going? Training the house down I assume.
