  1. On the small sample space that he's rested up forward, the answer would be no.
  2. He actually did get pinged for HTB once in either the second or third quarter but agree with you that it was by far his best game of the year which was pleasing. Hopefully he can end the year on a high, enjoy a healthy pre-season and have a career best 2020.
  3. That sentence reeks of Angus Brayshaw.
  4. You know you're struggling to think of any gains when Jayden Hunt's going to win the MFC leading goal kicking award with 25ish goals. Players that have had career best years: Salem, Frost, Hunt (although he was probably better off half back in 2017) and possibly Gawn. You're not going to go far as a team when only 3 or 4 players are having career (or equal career) best years.
  5. Aside from his ordinary kicking, he's pleasingly back to some good form to the point where he was in the best 5 players on the ground on Sunday. Also looks to be moving much better.
  6. Should be the first of a few players to be put in the rack to ensure he's ready for pre-season training - 9:00am day one. I hope from a footballing point of view that he's injured as that can somehow excuse what a horrid season he's having.
  7. Agreed. Could be the making of him if he can step up big time without our key forwards.
  8. We’ll miss Weed’s 1 goal and 3 marks.
  9. Hore does make a ton of mistakes both at ground level and turning the ball over via foot. Has been impressive in his first year but I wouldn’t have as automatic best 22 next year.
  10. Who will be omitted from last week? Petty, Lockhart, ANB or Dunkley?
  11. Assuming Gawn plays, is Preuss a certainty to keep his spot considering they're so reluctant to play Gawn and Preuss in the same side? In - Lever, Gawn Out - T Mac, Hore Jetta to have another week at Casey (IMO) considering he's missed 10 weeks and didn't even play a full game at Casey on his return. JFK would probably be border line. He probably didn't deserve to cop a bullet after the Adelaide game considering he was only promoted for 1 week after a long lay off, and has regularly been in the best for Casey.
  12. When's Oliver out of contract. Should be our biggest priority, no ifs buts or maybes.
  13. Good to see Melksham running laps. A return in round 20 V Richmond?
  14. Lewis dodged a bullet with the MRO and will play this week.
  15. Anyone who kicks 2 goals in a Friday night high pressure, high stakes AFL semi final must have some sort of talent and AFL capabilities. Having a really poor second season but let’s not write him off yet.
  16. Agree. He didn’t seem to bothered after the game. I assume he’ll play next week. Small sample but it was Petty’s best game of his career.
  17. Not sticking up for Weed as he has issues but Keilty wasn’t up to the standard in his 2 games. May return if T Mac’s our for weeks.
  18. On a hiding to nothing today. We win and they’ll say we beat a Cripps less and Curnow less Carlton, and our coach will embarrass himself with his emotional hugging and embracing of all 22 players, like he’s done with all our other mediocre wins this year. Lose, and we’ll rightly cop it left, right and centre.
  19. And was bloody emotional after our Geelong final win. I reckon MFC is his number 1.
  20. Gerard and Slobbo have promised to open up AFL 360 on Monday with a Melbourne lashing if we get done tomoz. Make no mistake, this year has been an absolute disgrace. There has to be casualties at the end of the year. And our head coach must surely be put on severe notice if we win just 0-2 games for the rest of the year. I keep defending our off season surgeries but apparently West Coast had 14 themselves and are now flying and probably flag favourites.
  21. I wouldn't bet on us fighting tooth and nail from Sunday right through to the final siren at Blundstone Arena. Our club hasn't exactly got a fantastic track record of giving it their all every week, 100% of the time.
  22. Would fit perfectly into our one-way unaccountable down skiing midfield.
  23. Any chance we could also get his older brother as steak knives?
  24. And probably a few weeks after that if he's strained or torn it.
  25. Agree with the OP. Even O Mac, Spargo and JFK could've provided more than what our 3 tall fwds did last week.
