He has a fourth interview this Tuesday. Sounds as though it’s merely a formality. This came from his niece.

A huge positive this year is our mighty AFLW side. The girls are in scintillating form, so exciting to watch. A wealth of talent in an even spread across the team. Well, almost even: Hanksy is a freak of nature. 😁 We (the Demon Army) have been supporting the W side all along but now that the men’s season has ended we can devote 100% of our time and effort to the W. Not everyone is invested in the W comp but those of us who are won’t be taking a break from footy anytime soon. ❤️💙 Forgot to mention, in case anyone wondered why there was no banner yesterday… on Thursday night we made the girls a banner for yesterday but it was deemed too windy to raise it.

PLEASE can we keep this thread for 2023 positives only. There’s an abundance of threads for coulda woulda shoulda.

My heart breaks for you, Daniel. I’m so sorry the MFC never reached out to you… that’s inexcusable. Please know that there are many, many people who care about you and wish nothing but the best for you and your children. Sending much love, and big hugs to you. 💕

Not flights, but I’ve booked accommodation. I wouldn’t say it’s the cheapest and nastiest but it does come with a free infestation of bedbugs which you get to take home. 🥳 There’s free cancellation up to 24 hours prior. I WON’T be cancelling it though. ❤️💙

We get there super early though. Last week it rained for the entire set-up time so I rocked the drowned rat look. Today I’m going the Lobster look. 😁 Variety is the spice of life. Speaking of spice, I’ll be sitting next to Mumma Nibbla tonight so I’m gonna kiss my eardrums goodbye. Tomorrow morning I’ll have no voice as well as no hearing. Girl can yell. 😂

Our banner isn’t at all concerned with the opposition. We’re using our space wisely, including a shoutout to Gussy and Hibbo. Oh, and THE MOST amazing graphic thus far. But it’s insensitive of you to post what you KNOW will upset the majority here.If this really is your belief, be satisfied with the result and maybe find another platform on which to express yourself. I’m not angry anymore. It’s worse… I’m apathetic. I couldn’t care less what happens now. If we lose on Friday, we lose, whatever. I didn’t even feel this abject despondency during our dark years. It’s taken a long time and you’ve done it by attrition but nice going, AFL, for finally breaking my spirit. Quite the feat, too; an eternally optimistic key member of the cheer squad with psychotic levels of devotion… what a scalp.

What’s the point though, Layz? If the AFL were serious about it they would’ve made an effort yesterday instead of that half-arzed waste of time of a presentation they dished up. An appeal would only serve as another unnecessary distraction and further angst.
