So, it’s a murder mystery then? If it’s not, it will be should BBO be cast as the leading man. #CastWisely Reminds me of the time Pickett Fence told me he planned to write one of his very creative training reports and wanted to include me, Dazzle and BBO. I told him if either of them is my love interest, I’d track him down and they’d never find his body. He never mentioned it again. 😅

It’s definitely this week coming. As of now he’s played 222 games all up. 123 games for GCS and 99 for us.

It’s not uncommon unfortunately. We’re often the target of sore losers. But this particular incident is next level since a toddler was involved.

It was in the aisle between our bay (the away team’s cheer squad bay, M33) and the adjoining bay. After an away-game win the players come to greet the cheer squad, therefore kids start flooding the aisles in the last five minutes of the final quarter. They also squeeze into our first couple of rows. It’s chaotic in the very least especially since we’re on a time limit to pack up and vacate our bay and it’s difficult amongst the bedlam, while at the same time watching out for d!kkheads, which is how this sort of thing happened.

Thanks for the advice old55, but if Bowsa really wanted it kept on the down-low he wouldn’t have said it while there was others within earshot. The ‘don’t tell anyone’ was sort of humorous. Besides, overshare is my middle name. Well, it’s not, but it really should be. 😁

For sure. I was busy packing up our gear so didn’t see it happen. I only know it happened coz Fritta told his mum in disgust and she told me. But I’m sure someone (from the DA who may’ve seen it) would’ve made sure he got a ball, even if it wasn’t the same one. Pretty sad that we may have to have a couple of our members concentrating just on this activity after the match in case something similar happens again. It shouldn’t be needed.

It happened very quickly and the POS left immediately. Players can’t react or say anything in this type of situation. It was water off a duck’s back to Fritta anyways, what bothered him is that he doesn’t know if the kid ended up getting the ball after all that. I like to think he did.

Fritta did have a very nasty interaction on Wednesday night but not with a player, with a spectator. After the match at the boundary fence Fritta handed a footy to a toddler on his dad’s shoulders. A Richmond supporter, not a kid mind you, but a grown-arze man who was standing behind the dad, punched the ball out of the toddler’s hands and gave Fritta a mouthful along the lines of you’re soft af and how about a hard ball get now and again etc. All this in front of the many little kids who were down the front to high-5 players. What a fine specimen of humankind right there 😡

I found out what Dusty said and it wasn’t nasty at all. It was about Disco. It was, “[censored] me dead, how old is that dude who kicked three goals? He looks like a baby to me!” 😅😅😅 Welcome to oldness Dusty! 😂

Bowsa more than an outside chance! He told me himself that he’s definitely coming back vs Carlton. And it’s not as if I asked him. I just told him I hope to see him back out there soon. He said, “You will. Next week.” I said, “Our Carlton match?” He said “Yep!” 😁

Everyone is saying Shane needs a full game at Casey before playing in the 1s. I’m no expert but he’s ready now. I watched him play in the Casey match and I’m convinced they pulled him off at 3/4 time coz they’d seen enough. He ran around the boundary to warm down and as he ran past I didn’t say anything since I didn’t know the reason why he was done for the day. But he grinned and waved at us (I was with DA friends who sponsor him) and seemed really happy. So now I’ve got a feeling it’s his time to show everyone what he’s got 👊🏼

He went back to the rooms very early in the session. Was hardly even worth him coming out at all. And he looked very deflated. Not happy at all. 😢

Yes, both were in full training. Bowey is definitely available for our Carlton match. Melksy not far off. Both trained really well.

I’ve mentioned this before but in December he told me he’ll be back “for the back end of the season.” Then about six weeks ago I asked him if that had changed. He said it has and that he’ll likely be back earlier than anticipated. I said, “Maybe after the mid-season bye?” He said “Yes, maybe even just before the bye.” I haven’t asked him since then because I don’t wanna annoy him (I know right - that ship’s sailed 🤭) but Chocco told me today that they’re really happy about how much “ahead of time” he is.

No, but I’ll definitely find out. 😁Interestingly, our #31 isn’t backward in coming forward when it comes to smart-mouthery. He’s the first to admit it. An example of what he says to oppo? I wouldn’t know since he won’t even tell his parents. 😅

Update: it’s his natural hair colour! I told him people pay a lot of money for hair that colour and he’s lucky he gets it for free. And… wait for it… he didn’t just smile, he grinned! And now I’m not sure what planet I’m on. PS: can confirm he has teeth.

Bowsa is a cert for our Carlton match!!! He told me not to tell anyone, my mouth said OK but every other part of me said Do you even KNOW who you’re talking to???

Bowsa is doing everything the others are doing. His body language and demeanour are totes different from how they’ve been of late. You could see from a mile away how dejected he was. Today however, he’s smiling and seems so refreshed. The four days off have benefited everyone it seems. The energy and enthusiasm is off the charts. Spargipants just jogged past me and smiled. Ima take a pic and send it to ‘Paranormal Caught On Camera.’

Chocco has a group of them practicing marking. He bellowed, “Don’t go backwards against the flight! Keep your effing feet on the ground!” I have nfi what that means but I figure someone on here might.

I tell you what… Melksy can’t come back soon enough. They’re doing defending drills. One-on-one running towards each other, one with ball in hand and being stopped by the other with minimal physical contact. Melks is fully participating but also giving tips to Pup and Sesto. The respect he commands is amazing.
