  1. Bring Maynard back for questioning. I need another laugh.
  2. Maynard's evidence has concluded. He takes a sip of water. His hair is immaculately gelled. Love Zeets so much 😁
  3. This is laughable. Collingwood counsel must be having an internal 9/11. Could there be a stupider witness??!??
  4. Maynard: I just sort of flinched and tensed up. I thought, 'Aww [censored].' Except you just said you didn’t realise Gussy was there til you saw him lying on the ground.
  5. Maynard says he felt the ball hitting his hand during his spoil attempt. what???? Are we in an episode of The Twilight Zone?!!
  6. Woods (AFL): It was clear to you that you were going to collide hard with Brayshaw. Maynard: No. I did not know what was going to happen after I went to make a football act. oh now he’s surely just taking the [censored].
  7. Maynard says he was not expecting Brayshaw to move in the way he did after kicking the ball, which was towards Maynard. Is this guy for real?!!!! How is so much stupidity squeezed into one body????? It defies physics.
  8. Too late. We all saw and heard it. I’m happy that it was said.
  9. Good on Gussy’s brother Hamish. Just saw on the ch. 7 4pm news he said what we all know but what no one will say publicly… that the AFL want Collingwood in the grand final and they’ll do anything to make that happen.
  10. Sorry about that, Andy. I actually did think to report that post but I thought the poster hadn’t breached any Demonland rules. Apart from being an !d!ot that is, but idiocy doesn’t constitute a breach, clearly. There’d be reports aplenty, amirite 😁
  11. If you were really channeling your inner BBO you’d say Borewood 😁
  12. Adding to the awkwardness is that Katie Hore, our AFLW captain, is going out with Maynard’s brother. And yes, I say awkwardness because she was asked about it on Sunday and yes, it’s awkward.
  13. Hark! The town crier to announce commencement of proceedings against Player Maynard at 1600 hours of the clock.
  14. …. then prepare to kiss goodbye another hour you’ll never get back.
  15. I heard that he’s been playing with the broken toe for weeks but it was aggravated when Cox trod on it during Thursday’s match.
  16. I get that, OD. But until such time as it’s case closed with that thug sitting out the next 2-4 matches… I’ll continue to fear. Re Cripps: I would’ve bet my life he’d lose that appeal and from the moment he won it, I realised there’s no such thing as a 100% sure thing in any of these cases.
  17. I agree with you, and I know the difference between Cripps’ and Gussy’s cases. But before Cripps got off I thought there was no way possible he would. But he did. And I fear this time they’ll have some sort of loophole that none of us foresee. Although it’d have to be some sort of loophole, Maynard’s name isn’t partway etched on a Brownlow. 🙄
  18. Yo, wassup fam. Cliche ain’t no verb, bro. Fo shizzle.
  19. Because that’s what we fear will happen, and that fear is warranted. Cripps getting off last year means every subsequent appeal is highly likely to be successful despite how ridiculous it is.
  20. I’m sorry, I let emotions get the better of me. I guess I was just desperate to find anyone who even remotely seems to be on ‘our side.’ Coz it feels as though nobody is taking this as seriously as they should be. Thank you for patiently explaining.
  21. Had she not intervened this likely wouldn’t have even gone to the tribunal!!!! That alone is enough for me.
