at the end of the day, alot of this has to come down to the coaches team selection as well as the consistently poor delivery by our superstar midfield into the forward line. BB and Tmac had a good year last year because we delivered it to the forward line in an efficient way - not bomb it to packs (or just bomb it to the opposition). Also, we drop Weid after playing him as a FT Ruck? He is not a Ruck - He is a key Fwd who can support in Ruck if needed. Have to play him that way and give him a run at it. Goody chose to play small this week - which backfired. Play Weid and BB, deliver the ball properly to them and I am pretty confident we wont be writing off these two. Deliver it properly, and they still dont deliver? Well, Weid is at a new club next year and JVR becomes our man.

In - May, Hibberd, Weid Out - Petty (sore), Hunt, M.Brown Give Petty a few weeks rest, Hunt was outplayed and cant handle it when the heat is on, and M.Brown is not our longer term solution, Weid and BB to play together and sort out their mojo together. TMac is not going to be around for a while so they just need to sort it out and that will only happen if they play together.

are we expecting Chandler to be upgraded given 2 year contract? if so I suspect we pick up 3 at draft tomorrow including Taj, upgrade Chandler and JJ and leave 1 rookie spot open for AMW. Did another post suggest AMW would be Cat B? which leave a further Rookie spot open

has anyone had any further news re Hore, Declase or even Hibbo confirmation? I havent seen anything.

if we keep Hibbo and Hore, the only way we can use all 3 picks is if 1 Rookie goes. Declase is the only one left.

min 3 to draft but that can include upgraded rookies. so presuming JJ and Chandler are upgraded then only need 1 pick. It appears Hore, Hibberd and Declase are the ony ones I have not seen a formal announcement regarding their contract.

as much as id hate to admit it, I wouldnt be surprised, given our draft pick situation that in order to get Cerra, we might give up Brayshaw who might be happy to go. Im sure someone will start the Brayshaw to Freo conversation again!!

I think we need a little perspective. 9-1 and if the OOB was paid we are probably 10-0 still. Delivery to Fwd line was ordinary and yes a couple look tired. no need to panic. Salem in for jetta (easy); Viney (assuming fit) in for Jordan (just needs a recharge i think); Sparrow for Melk (just no pressure from him when needed - fair weather footballer)

just need to find a way to get Weid in. I'd rather invest and support Weid and find a spot elsewhere for TMac (wing or CHB). I know it wont happen but I think they have played the wrong card here. Weid in, TMac back, Harmes in for Jones. perfect opportunity to bring in the Weid.
