Absolutely wild for the AFL to hire someone from clubland and give them the responsibility of auditing the club you were accountable for. That’d be like hiring Carl Williams to be the judge on his own case. Surely this is being reported inaccurately

What is McCartney’s club background? Was he a list boss or GM football somewhere? Seems a slightly odd choice given the club’s burning platform is finding a patch of grass and then building on it.

I think anyone is. Not sure a tall is what they’re after though. Love the idea of the great man coming home but 2/3 first rounders that StK would pay for Jackson would probably be a wiser choice for us long term.
