Loan System for Players to Swap Clubs

Loan System for Players to Swap Clubs
Agree, and most teams loan out players to different leagues around Europe.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs GWS
Go Dees, I'm watching the replay now as I was at dinner with no foxtel :( just saw bits and pieces on a mates phone. So we are finally a mature group not dropping games we should win. 4 /0 is possible next week

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs St. Kilda
Best game I've seen in a long time from the Dees. To be challenged in the second quarter... and the response was very pleasing. best game I've seen from ANB as well Keep it up Dees

Clayton Oliver Contract negotiations
You have go to be kidding, Oliver is a contested beast and only getting better, his outside game will come with experience I have no doubt he can be in the top 5 players in the comp and alongside Trac can take us all the way. Must keep these 2 boys 5 years +

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Fremantle
My Round 1 team RIVERS MAY LEVER HUNT TOMLIMSON SALAM LANGDON PATRACCA ANB JONES JACKSON PICKETT FRITSCH TMAC CHANDLER GAWN OLIVER HARMES I: BRAYSHAW VANDENBERG BOWY JETTA Only pick players 100% fit and I'd pick experienced players over young ones in the early rounds try to get off to a good start and build momentum. Also wouldn't mind swapping ANB and Salam see how they go and T Mac and Tomlinson we might find a bit of flexibility to the team. JONES JETTA VANDENBERG get games because Viney BB Wied and Melky injuries. Thoughts thanks?

Here we go again
That's definitely been the case for a long time and hasn't been fixed we can all see it, who's responsible? AFL players should be able to hit targets even under pressure. as you say we have no one taking contested grabs so we congest our forward half making it harder to mark. We need to create space for leads

Here we go again
We had our 'full list' for all off last year, I have never really bought into Goodwin as a coach I just hope I'm wrong because this club needs stability to thrive. I think he is coaching to save his job rather then take a risk, where has the forward thinking gone, didn't he invent the diamond wings running through the middle before 6.6.6. Was introduced. We need something of a similar nature to spark the group

Here we go again
Does our game plan bring the best out of our list? This press trying to keep the ball in our attacking half to create forward half turnovers isn't working for us, it creates congestion helping the opposition defend. Our talls think bringing the ball to ground is a "win" then we get smashed at the ground ball. Quick turnovers against us and we are out of position, the opposition score easily. With the best ruckman in the comp. A young talented midfield group, and a back 6 as good as any we should be spreading the ground making it hard for opposition to score and opening up our forward line especially considering we have injuries to key talls. Put Trac in the goal square open up the 50 with Fritsch and a rotating Gawn and Jackson leading into space and we can kick a score in the early rounds. I fear if Goody is stubborn on his Game plan especially with a underdone midfield we will at best be 1 and 4 season over by round 5. He has to adapt to whose available I can just see it loose to Freo first up and the wheels will fall off.

Winger, winger, chicken dinner?!
Couldn't agree more, if we don't bring this attitude and win in round 1 we will loose members and we can forget signing Oliver if we have a bad start to the year. Time to be that ruthless footy club we keep talking about. Atm were as ruthless as my nan knitting a scarf

Clarry’s Contract 2021 Edition

2021 Crystal Ball Predictions
3qts of that game was like a training drill for Melbourne, if we can stop in game lapses we are a top 6/8 side. And playing at our best can have a real crack at the flag. That should be the aim, imo no way we miss finals next year and n ok way Oliver goes anywhere

2020 Player Reviews: #4 James Harmes
That's the thing with Harmes in the middle, he was able to nullify a opponent and still get the ball himself and have influence in attack, surely we can rotate 4 or 5 mids in the middle and half forward next year.

2020 Player Reviews: #5 Christian Petracca
Must strive for another massive off season and pull along a few of his mates. We could be unstoppable if they put in the hard yards.

More Rules Changes in 2021
By watching footy you'd see that fatigue contributes to poor disposal, how many times have you seen a player buggered having a set shot, and completely miss kick. They are creating more problems then there fixing

2020 Phantom Drafts & Rankings
I like the look of Brayden Cook quick tall wing forward and Finn McInnis lightning quick midfielder

More Rules Changes in 2021
I understand your point and you are correct... I look at the world game which has only ever had minor rule tweaks to keep up with the times, ie. Goal line technology and V.A.R. but the core of the game, including game time, interchange, and general rules are kept the same this makes the game easy to follow so more people play it. This is how you teach kids system and skills so when they make the AFL the playing standard is higher. In turn even the more inferior players/ teams will be better to watch. At the moment you have most team's with 5-8 VFL standard players playing AFL every week

More Rules Changes in 2021
That's just the thing, there has and always will be good and bad games, it's just now the bad ones are scrutinized way more then enjoying the good ones. Sure there is more tactics and congestion and less high flying marks, but changing the rules every second ain't ganna help just let it settle and watch how coaches try something different to get the best out off their team.

More Rules Changes in 2021
If it Ain't broke? Just creating more problems and making the game harder for anyone new to understand, let alone the old timers
