  1. Must strive for another massive off season and pull along a few of his mates. We could be unstoppable if they put in the hard yards.
  2. By watching footy you'd see that fatigue contributes to poor disposal, how many times have you seen a player buggered having a set shot, and completely miss kick. They are creating more problems then there fixing
  3. I like the look of Brayden Cook quick tall wing forward and Finn McInnis lightning quick midfielder
  4. I understand your point and you are correct... I look at the world game which has only ever had minor rule tweaks to keep up with the times, ie. Goal line technology and V.A.R. but the core of the game, including game time, interchange, and general rules are kept the same this makes the game easy to follow so more people play it. This is how you teach kids system and skills so when they make the AFL the playing standard is higher. In turn even the more inferior players/ teams will be better to watch. At the moment you have most team's with 5-8 VFL standard players playing AFL every week
  5. That's just the thing, there has and always will be good and bad games, it's just now the bad ones are scrutinized way more then enjoying the good ones. Sure there is more tactics and congestion and less high flying marks, but changing the rules every second ain't ganna help just let it settle and watch how coaches try something different to get the best out off their team.
  6. If it Ain't broke? Just creating more problems and making the game harder for anyone new to understand, let alone the old timers
  7. Interesting pretty sure I saw BB testing the wind direction in the car park outside gate 2 security were placing witches hats all the way back near the train station.
  8. Spot on Id ask for a second or 3rd rounder back next year if we have to give 2 seconds. I think he will improve us, but he ain't in the same league as Cameron, sure he scores goals but contested marking is my concern especially with our forward half game style, there's not much space for leads
  9. Would stocking up on next year's picks be a better option considering everyone on trade radio mention how compromised this draft is and next year's is very stong?
  10. Good post, i would love someone at the club to answer this as I know alot of Dees members have the same questions and we are being feed a bit of dribble.
  11. Pretty strong team on paper, I don't mind if they back in Baker at minimum he's quick and highly competitive, thats a good start. A preseason with Langdon should do him the world of good. A pacy small forward should be on the cards draft or trade in, probably taking malkshams spot
  12. 2 years ago he was worth a top 10 pick, he's had his injuries and when a side is pushing a player out with a 5 year contract there's no way you'd pay that. He is worth a second rounder when taking everything into consideration as is T Mac when you factor KPP are harder to find
  13. Fair enough, I don't know much about there contracts, but I know good teams win premierships so I'd try to sell that to the players.
  14. I love Clarry, but I say take the pies to the cleaners, gain a top player make them pay half his wage... just make sure we have enough dough for our guns when they come out off contract.
  15. No way trade any off our gun mids we need depth and adding Trelor would compliment it perfectly. T Mac for Trelor pies to pay 200k off Trelors contract per year remaining ? and extend Clarrys contract
  16. Matt Rendale on SEN suggest Melbourne should be all over Trelor suits our Midfield perfectly. T Mac for Trelor and pies to pay 200k off Trelors contract per year remaining?
  17. Hunt has signed on for two more years good news ??
  18. ??? there both guns that pick is worth it. They will be starting 18 for gw$
  19. I hope he goes around one more year in that playing assistant role, maybe plays 5/8 games as depth
  20. Wouldn't give him away for nothing, give him a preseason shadowing May and make him you're second tall defender. All hinges on us being able to get Brown though regardless, don't know about our cap situation.
  21. I hate to accept it but I think the article is pretty spot on, on most points although Trac and Oliver are definitely A grade and no way we trade ether of them. I am a little worried the pies are trying to free up cap space for a shot at Trac, so we need to extend both these boys quick smart
  22. Can't see why he doesn't... robust exit interview to point out his areas to improve, I'm expecting a Petracca type preseason
