phew!!! the best news i could have heard today

worst post of the season!!

another positive is players kept their feet a lot better this week. I wonder if this was highlighted after the crows game?

well put. i certainly did not expect a better result than what we got. the bigger bodies on the day won and this will be us one day

thats your thoughts, and thats fine by me, but i have never had a good experience there, its a bugger to get there, a bugger to home from there, and a bloody expensive day at the footy

i think it says alot about the MFC and the importance they put on the website

we have an eye on the future with this season, and that future does not include Daniel Bell!!! Its no coincidence that we played our best footy when we had run and carry storming out of defence and right now we are just too big down there. When that run and carry was happening Rivers was sitting in the grand stand. INS: McDonald, Sylvia, Bennell, Wona OUTS: Rivers, Bruce, Miller, Watts The saints are not a quick team, lets roll the dice and try and out run them....gotta try something

He is really giving me the sh!ts at the moment. He is a one contest player, once he has gone for that first contest their is NO second effort, and if i was his shoe sponsor i would be very worried about the marketing they would be getting by being on his feet. I think he would greatly benefit from a specialist forward coach, obviously cash restricts us there. He deserves another contract offer, but if there is no improvement shown by the end of that contract, i think he will be sent on his way

i will believe it when i see or hear he has signed on the dotted line....

its a mental thing. Everyone can be physically ready to go out and play a game of footy, but its another thing to be mentally ready to go at the contest, to gut run, to push back and help team mates.

i personally think it would be a good experience for Gysberts to go on an interstate trip, but i guess that does not come into calculation at the selection table
