  2. i can't believe this decision by Casey, it shows how much they listen to their AFL affiliate club. In my eyes this is purely a dollars decision and not a footy decision Fev is a cancer
  3. thanks for the updates all day guys, really appreciate it
  4. Gary "i want to be the next captain of Geelong" Ablett says hi... Don't get me wrong, i want Tom to sign as much as everyone else, but until the dotted line is signed i believe nothing these footy players/officials say
  5. i don't think Skull will attend this press conferance, last minute withdrawl....just a gut feel
  6. i think he would be/is a better player when Frawley is in the side. Last night Grimes had to play the role Rivers usually does, and he is not that type of defender, too attacking to play the role.
  7. this is what fanfooty have as the line ups for tonight under their preview for the game Teams Melbourne FB: Paul Wheatley, Nathan Carroll, Colin Garland HB: Clint Bartram, Daniel Bell, Simon Buckley C: Brad Green, Brock McLean, Cale Morton HF: Cameron Bruce, Brad Miller, Lynden Dunn FF: Jace Bode, David Neitz, Russell Robertson Fol: Jeff White, James McDonald, Nathan Jones Int: Isack Weetra, Colin Sylvia, Aaron Davey, Paul Johnson Essendon FB: Jay Nash, Mal Michael, Dustin Fletcher HB: Adam Ramanauskas, Patrick Ryder, Courtenay Dempsey C: Alwyn Davey, Brent Stanton, Bachar Houli HF: Leroy Jetta, Adam McPhee, Nathan Lovett-Murray FF: Ricky Dyson, Matthew Lloyd, Jason Winderlich Fol: David Hille, Jobe Watson, Mark McVeigh Int: Jason Johnson, Jason Laycock, Sam Lonergan, Henry Slattery WTF???? are they taking the [censored] or what?
  8. surely after the result of the first game against the swannies(83 to 4), Tom will be saying "do i really want to be apart of this new franchise" Keep getting belted GWS, it can only be good for us and our chances of keeping Tom
  9. desperate times call for desperate measures......... don't do it junior, i don't mind you going to GWS as a mentor to to see you in thier pathetic uniform would just hurt too much
  10. thats why i said POTENTIALLY Add in the third party deals, deals he could get through club sponsors, it would not be far off the $1M per year
  11. Can't see that being an issue when you are potentially earning $6M
  12. i was really hoping that the topic of this was in referance to Skully knocking back a GWS contract and resigning with the Dees
  13. a great clubman, but as far as on field stuff goes, can't say im disappointed to see him in yellow and black
  14. he is all class, and will be one of those players that doesn't need 35 touches to kill the opposition. He could have 17 touches but its what he does with those 17 touches that will kill the opposition
  15. it does not seem to affect the league players, so i can't see it being a problem for AFL players, after all AFL players are far more professional
  16. I have a feeling its going to be a long year for Bailey, Connolly, Schwab answering questions about Scully's contract situation
  17. if you dare injure Liam Jurrah Michael Newton, i will be one very angry man!!!!
  18. funny, because on xmas day my uncle said exactly the same thing hutchy did, and i scoffed at him, so we have put a tatts ticket on it. i predict we will finish anywhere between 10 - 7
  19. shows how bad that formula for picking the team is
  20. I am going to name 3. Morton - i think if he does not produce next year he might be put up as trade bait. CVan really see him taking the role Bruce used to play Wonna - Must start producing on a consistent basis LJ - Watch out opposition back line coaches, there could be some sleepless nights ahead for you
  21. TJ is no longer an AFL player....time to move on and find a new favourite
  22. how is ayres rock? it could only be a rock that big that you have been living under to have missed all the discussion on this topic
  23. Sam Fisher....if it wasn't for him the saints would have been blown away in the first half of the first GF Dustin Fletcher.....made this role what it is today, maybe past his best though Luke Hodge would be better than Maxwell if he was played as a permanent backman
