So what happened to the investigation announced by Collingwood in June? What is "everybody's truth"? What does Eddie mean by that remark. Lumumba is pursuing the telling of the truth as he experienced it. Is it so hard for a club to say sorry and acknowledge wrongs if they were done? Denying everything doesn't make things magically go away. It only causes more hurt to the person who experienced the discrimination. This could have been settled before without court action. It seems Eddie doesn't want to admit his perfect family club is not so perfect in its treatment of certain individuals. Notice Lumumba doesn't indicate he suffered the same experience at Melbourne. A sad situation for all. Collingwood should take more ownership of what went on and just apologize. Sometimes that is all victims want to hear.

Best of luck for the future, Dunny. Always looked so much better in a Melbourne jumper. That Collingwood photo...eeekk!! DELETE.

Is Brian available?

Can someone just settle this argument by asking him what his intentions are and what his problem, if any, is? What happened to good old fashioned reporting? Actually talk to people, not run with the latest rumours.

Never mind the vibe.....We're putting the band back together?

Long sleeves will be the new fashion de rigueur at MFC next year. ?

Watching the last two minutes of Melbourne v North highlights on the AFL website with the Yze news showcasing "Yze and Neitz blitz." brought a tear to my eye. For a number of reasons: A reminder of how good Yze and Neitz were. How many good players we had in the team at the time. (Why didn't we win a flag ?) Seeing Troy Broadbridge holding the ball aloft when the siren sounded. RIP Troy. Great news. The Albanian cheer squad will be back in force at the MCG. (We hope. If restrictions allow.?)

Now the contract is done and dusted and his house is in order, looking forward to seeing an injury free Jack rekindle his 2018 form and help Melbourne get back in the finals and further onwards and upwards. 2021❤️?

I hope this is in the realm of New Idea reporting. You know the sort of story, A friend of a friend's cousin's hairdresser's sister told me.......

Dangerfield- still waiting for a flag. LOL.

Are you telling me all those Collingwood supporters live in Perth? Something fishy going on here. Looks like people smugglers were busy this week getting certain groups across multiple borders. Or did they arrive via boats.

Still in the gun shop in regional Victoria on the other side of the state while we are still in lockdown in Melbourne.

Yes, but what does Mrs Hardwick think about the situation? I respect her opinion more than her husband's.?

This year has changed our world and changed our perspectives on many things. I have been following Melbourne for a long time. As you get older and reflect on your football supporting life, you remember the highlights. Many would probably say what highlights, Melbourne has not been successful as a club, they haven't won a premiership since I began supporting them. Believe me, as time goes on, and especially this year, when so many enjoyments have been taken away or lost, it's the great moments you witnessed, together with fellow fans around you at the ground, that you treasure. Jack's goal that QB game was one of those moments. My view was the same as you see on the TV clip, only us fans were all on our feet screaming when he took that run down the wing. We all knew he was going to kick the goal. The noise was deafening. It was like being at a Beatles concert. No one could hear each other. We were lost in the moment of elation and awe. For a while the outside world took a back seat. We need moments like those more than ever. Best wishes and good health to you Jack. Thanks for the memories.

Forgot a special mention to Michael Hibberd. It's been a tough year for him, losing his brother. He has shown strength and fortitude.

Congratulations to Christian who proved there is reward for hard work. Sounds like he decided to buckle down and put in the hard yards for this year going by the remarks from the coach and his own family. Also well done to the other Christian for a good showing in the Top Ten. Touching speech from Steven May. He enjoyed the feeling of belonging to the big family in the hub.

Playboy Bunnies as umpires. They have more brains than the lot we have now.

Were they all just happy to have the season over and done with so they can p off from the hub and enjoy a holiday in sunny COVID free Queensland? Can't get this nagging suspicion out of my head.?
