  1. Disagree Brads statements are not rough around the edges Thsts the beauty of them NO EDGES Straight and direct as he played no nonsense. Like it or not you know the score and we wont surrender to WA on their terms. We are on the march back to the Club we were just after our 2021 triumph. Look at what has happened in the last 12 months. Pretty impressive where we stand today. Yes our results are crucial and our brand of footy so important but I feel we are undoubtedly up to it. Go Dees and well done Brad.
  2. Pace is the biggest thing in the game not necessarily height. If you have both then woopee!! Let’s not get carried away some players with height aren’t great high marks either.
  3. He’s at Grandmas probably !
  4. Outdated and the second is Not even our real colours. Navy blue more than some royal style is our colours. And haven’t we won the 2021 flag with this newer emblem. Let's worry about what happens on the field and matters like this can be addressed when we are 17 flags atop the premiership race. Changing emblems like flags always indicates a lack of self confidence IMO as the real issue is changing our style out on the ground and winning. That makes a greater Football Club with continuity and confidence not tinkering at the edges.
  5. Thanks BBP
  6. Can’t you handle the truth Dumb Dee sorry Dub Dee!!!
  7. This is exactly why we get criticised for lack of crowds at some games. People who are by most standards enthusiastic fans and members dream up reasons to miss going to Marvel too concretish can you believe Playing certain teams at our HOME GROUND the weather below say 14 degrees the travel etc. Whilst a section of fans are so pathetic plus of course if we play a bad game or lose 2 in a row. Do don’t complain when the opposition or media point this out. Just harden up and enjoy the experience as we win more than 2 out of 3 at Marvel now. Under the roof is just another different experience to be on cold or rainy days. The football is usually faster and not affected by the wind so more skilful and enjoyable. Ie positive thoughts not negative. And GW is it any wonder you are flummoxed by transport in the North Melbourne area voluntarily walking 15 minutes to a ground where the station is a Rooy punt away almost attached to the same buildings. (Next you will be telling us you carry out the banner by yourself. ) So Dees fans examine your habits and it’s no longer surprising that the 16/17,000 crowds at Port and GWS AT THE G at least one we still had a chance of making the Finals. Still waiting for the missing 10,000 fans on those nights to reflect in our membership figures as I can absolutely guarantee the two sets of figures don’t lie at the moment. And like Greenwave ( gu.less ) I won’t reply or respond. Oh and by commenting you will be generally revealing yourself as a fair weather fan, or one of the missing 10,000!! Cheers to the true believers about probably 20,000 was 28/30, 000 during 2018 to 2023!
  8. Thst was probably Bowey I think.
  9. It was Spargo wasn’t it ?
  10. Read the Club website for this info. Very good summary on players of note and their performance. Another reason for reading the CLUB website D/Lers !!!
  11. Some Eagles fans say he was slow but this was after his ACL. Hasn’t stopped him being a ball magnet in the match sims at training. Very strong body also.
  12. Well that probably was the mid role Judd was being trained in but would guess that was not going to happen to AMW.
  13. That’s not a real imposition for Norwood. I t to think they hit a reprieve when he wasn’t taken in the Nov National Draft. I believe we should have looked at Boyd instead of Marty Hore more seriously however am very happy we have got Campbell AJ Harvey XL Sharp and now Henderson plus Culley now. Two rucks both forwards of sorts two versatile smalls who have class and finish well Two of the best young players on the AFL who are multi talented and 200 game prospects for our midfield and attacking roles and a tough big bodied mid to add depth and grunt to our stars already and newbies developing in the midfield. I reckon our seven players here are real honest from the heart types who will not be far from their best each match. very valuable last 3/4 days including a boost in morale on Sat with eleven probables out and still a good even effort in extreme heat with their fitness supremely important in the final analysis.
  14. No forward or half back not mid field . Some doubt his tank I think that’s not a real issue as we can generally control that if any effects are apparent in last quarters depending upon the situation. Thats AMW in any case so unfortunately it’s problematical any way.
  15. Go Hendo welcome 💙❤️
  16. One of is needed as third tall in most games. And is the mix that stood up in 2021 and since then on 95% of our matches. Hybrids like Hore or Howes are handy also.
  17. You will regret that statement. He is developing as space and will have some days when he will only have 6/8 possessions and 3/4 goals and a couple of assists. Never hoping to be a high possessions winner but good value for the cones he gets. Remember my take vs yours.!!!
  18. Wow some real points from left field but so much could well be the truth. Many may question some points but if they are in any way near the mark we will be a much stronger side as a result. Very encouraging effort from both teams with half a team looking on all for differing reasons. Let’s hope AMW dodges a bullet. He grew up yesterday as a regular before our own eyes.
  19. Yesterday all the info inc correct transport info and new times was posted. As a major news story. Yes I acknowledge that I missed GW ‘S posting of the game change time from an 11.am to 10 am on Monday at 13.37 and apologies to her. But as for priority in print yesterday’s coverage of the North games, the transport and facilities for shade etc. at the ground far outweighed the articles by GW during the week. In fact the incorrect train station and no tram advice in D/L had to be corrected despite the fact that all the transport and Ground locations have virtually been the same since the middle of 1960’s. Yes it’s been about 30 plus years or more since Arden St used as an AFL ground. The train stations are both about 15/20 mins I believe walk from the games venue. Hopefully all are sun smart and water guzzling tomorrow. PS Binman I do not do APPS nor does GW I would say. You wont convince me Yo not look at yha AFL MFC websites before DLand for info about our game ie match centre and facts. I love D/L for its differences of opinions and the totally different way of all posters engaging in our great Club and game. But the facts are indisputable who gives out the more reliable and factual info. It’s not always the first but it’s not based on opinion but fact 95% of the time. You have your footy loading love child Binman I have this and swear by it.

  23. Thats entirely a different discussion. Campbell or AJ would probably be our No 1 and no doubt another would be in the 23. Rooy would then be the FF or CHF for starting and swapping from one to the other position as form and the game demanded. Turner would be our second key player with Jeffo hopefully in demand.
  24. Is now 42,229 Interestingly Saints 43,300 Dogs 42,300 Kangas 41,053 We need to have winning start and will beat these Clubs with an instant jump.
  25. If we want yo take a punt on players far better yo do it with Jeffo than AJ Fullarton Verrall. only possible reason for their preferred place is the Rick assistance quandary. But none of them has Jeffos last season half form consistency and goal kicking base to elevate yo AFL. Jeffo should be punted with as he has a much more solid game than the others either way forward finishing skills top of the list. We need that dearly with Kossie and dare I say it Shane Mac out. Be daring and take a chance.
