We are writing Tom completely off and and I hope he makes us all eat any words said. What I do know if Tom can get fit his input to our results is huge. A fit 2018 style Tom forward back or as a back up follower would put us in a major position to do some real damage. One thing we should all know about the McDonalds they are fine clubmen from a wonderful family who will leave no stone unturned to make the Dees successful. But the ANB AVB Oscar Hannan Jetta( sadly) and maybe Hunt Jones and Smith that are not any where near better than 2018 and We have few forward flankers who are up to consistent Form. Really move on 2018 was Mitchs big dance And remember him fondly fir his great goal vs Geelong and pre3/4 time mark and goal vs Hawks. Mitch has numerous opps this year to secure a HFF but failed like a couple of others and only got about 10 or less possessions per game and few goals. Hunt and Spargo got some good ones vs Pies GWS and Dons and are in line ahead of Mitch. Spargs has more upside and us still developing and has a good footy brain and Hunty still has a skill factor to sta Why because his firm was bad !

Totally agree BBP Salos last half of season he was starting to impact with his skills by foot and hand and found himself further up the ground on ring and half forward. Petsonally I believe it's mainly about how urgently he plays the game and 2020 last half Was as good as he had been and importantly his impact was excellent in our Failed finals push. Play him in forward line say HFF snd I believe we will get a top5 in band f In season 2021.

It's not like he Deliberately plays badly Its his fitness and form one would think.. Just hope he can turn it around and stun us all as Tom is a great Melb Clubman who deserves better.

Don't think Club could believe how quickly Tom has degenerated in form and statistics inside 2 seasons. Hopefully a great Clubman like Tom can turn it around despite dodgy ankles and toes. Best scenario is he stays and can be depth or if he rediscovers his form then the forward spots open up and even ruck or defence. Speed is crucial in his Recovery if he is to be Useful and relevant this season.

Really Dan will get Vic back To high level finance situation very soon. wouldctather be in the trenches with him Than any other Premier. Vic was in great shape and had 5 good years prior Covid so can rebound quickly.
