Admittedly we won 4 games in a row vs top opposition viz Eagles away Giants home Cats elimination home Hawks Semi home but our last few games from Saints loss was an inexcusable fade out to Cats st KP by 3 points AND another embarrassing loss to Swans as our "system" fails to shine vs this Club ( as it had for 15 years! About 2005 we were equal to bout 90 wins each and the last 25 meetings has netted about 3/4 wins mostly because the Swans play a Systematic and honest brand of footy. We vary and get tied up on their terms and have no Plan B to counteract. Itd hurting us like we couldn't play Hawks for a long time. We need to have a An AAnd a variation to play against some teams to give us an equal chance of victory.

Big Red sort of got it right but really neither Omac/Smith have a spot in the backline Only when we need another BIG defender and Hore is not big enough or strong enough to play that role. He is Jakes replacement And really can't play on smells either I would have Brown play that at a pinch instead of firward and give Smith a go there IR give Tommy a chance back agsin.

Try Tommy back at say CHB before we look at alternatives please and st the same time give Smith a go up forward please.

Dom Hasnt played for months and is in a 2 nd bottom team that is worse than us last year.! Also was injured a lot in 2019. Is nowhere near the player he was when he left us and played 7/8 games if lucky! Id fancy Sparrow definitely Now and in a Final in October as he slotted in quite nicely. Same with Wattsy out injured fir 2 years nearly so coveted by Sparrow again!

PS Hore is out for weeks still and hasn't played in any matches at least since the first 3 rounds or last year or pre season in late 2019 when only fitness work was bring done Consult our injury list !

Don't need Locky and Jets in same side Basically Locky has replaced Nev in the team . Agree Bedford could be given a go if Kossie is rested. Fritsch for Hannan and Tommo back to defence and OMac out to structure with Baker or Hunt to the wing fir pace. Not a bad idea to rest Max fir either this game or Freo so he is cherry ripe for GWS.

All defenders other than Lever and probably Wags could be flexible some on wing others up forward and Tommo in the ruck.00.
