Trade Targets
What do we think will happen to Mitch Brown?

Trade Targets
SEN reporting Carlton are "keen" on De Goey and have room for one more big name after Williams and Saad. What an efficient period that may be for them if they can get them all over the line. Although i am sure it would create some cap issues. Hopefully we can pull off another missing piece of the puzzle this period. Which teams below us on the ladder are you most worried about for 2021?

Yze is a Demon Again
https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/824053 He's back!

Development the Key for Luke Jackson
He also looks like he belongs in Brunswick.

Farewell Braydon Preuss
You'd imagine GWS would "want" him the most given the list they have. Sure the other clubs would want a #1 ruck but further away from the "window"

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Essendon? Dees? Bulldogs? Pies? Hawks? Essendon probably got the most $ to throw esp with Saad/Danniher on the way out.

Viney Signs Until 2025
Good news, not sure about the 5th year but hopefully he proves me wrong. Happy he remains a demon for life.

Tom McDonald
Happy playing Tmac up forward if he gets his body right. If we're chasing goals late in a game dont mind switching him and May who can use his strength etc.

Petty, Sparrow & Smith Re-Sign
https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/821186 Three Demons sign on Tom Sparrow, Harry Petty and Joel Smith have agreed to new contracts

Tom McDonald
https://www.sen.com.au/news/2020/10/01/melbourne-defender-expected-to-depart-club/ Article by Sam Edmund about Oscar Likely leaving. has the below on Tom "Oscar’s brother Tom McDonald has also been the subject of trade speculation, but is set to stay at Melbourne where he still has two years to run on a contract. It’s believed Tom has vowed to change his body shape in a bid to recapture the form as a key forward that helped the Demons make the 2018 preliminary final. In an attempt to add strength and avoid getting pushed off the ball, he lost his athleticism and gut-running ability to get up and back. He will now work to strip weight over summer."

Isaac Smith
Result/Performances aside he's played in a Grand Final, the furthest any of our crop have gone! He didn't really impact games at GWS, just plays his part. We're shambolic in a shambolic year, i'll hold all my judgment off until 2021 is completed.

@DeeSpencer Would you call Tomlinson an update on Frost/OMac at least?

Well we are after a big bodied forward who can score?

Crows Attempting to Poach Darren Burgess
I always assumed Burgo wanted 1 year to keep his options open, not sure if he wanted to return to European football etc. Hoping he is not lost

Jack Watts Retires
wonder if it was a laconic hit and run

Crows Attempting to Poach Darren Burgess
When he was announced the club said "MELBOURNE has recruited world renowned fitness expert Darren Burgess to oversee the club’s fitness and medical program for the 2020 season." If we lose Burgo before we can take advantage of his skills with the normal length games/season i will go outside and scream obscenities into the air

Alex Neal-Bullen
That was my rationale too. Although questions are out some of the long term futures of the names listed
-
Delistings
Seems MFC website creator very much conflicted about what Tomlinson's role is. Given the whispers on targets, imagine he'll remain in the backline.

Think ANB a decent depth player, but in a position where we have some other alternatives. If it helps us re-balance then so be it.
