  1. I was a MCC reserved seat against Collingwood up in level 4, there were 6 empty seats next to me the entire game and I was about 1/3rd of the way up. Surprised no one claimed them instead of trekking to the top every time they went to get a drink.
  2. Still annoyed I spent 40 minutes in the "waiting zone", how can I sit tight at a time like this. Was only after 1 ticket and no luck. Will be a MCC walk up on Friday. Still can't believe how many ppl were there early last week from like 2:45pm.
  3. Well the computer has randomly decided it hates me then!
  4. Then it crashed on me, now back in the queue probably with all the 10am members. Fun way to start the week
  5. Been sitting tight for about 40 minutes now.
  6. it's my opinion that he had another option but others may vary, personally I think he deserves a suspension but at the end of the day I don't have a lot of faith in the system.
  7. This is how I see it, Arms out, softens the blow, would lessen the blow whilst still offering an element of protecting for both players. Turns the shoulder, endangers the opposition player, only one outcome given the momentum Still see him avoiding a ban though
  8. Don't like to be too negative about MFC players, but Laurie seemingly overwhelmed and didn't really impact the game. Nor did his inclusion allow us to rotate Petracca forward more often. I think this is vital given our forward issues, so assuming JJ comes in for Gus, then Harmes should be the sub over the likes of Spargo. If the forward line was fit and firing i'd have different views on the matter.
  9. Shambolic forward entries seemingly the plan, we had the inside 50s and scoring shots to win it last night but couldnt clunk em or kick em. Inaccuracy was a killer, as you said we seem to oscillate in effectiveness with this tactic. We've had a bit of a cursed year for forwards which hasnt helped. Only managed 6 games this season with Petty/JvR/Fritsch in the same team. Melk ACL when hitting form, BBB/TMac only playing 7 each etc. I doubt the plan will change even with different personnel but some new heads are needed in the forwardline.
  10. Would hate to see my stats for today for ToD (Time On Demonland) and efficiency at work
  11. Guess Goody couldn't be too critical of Grundy talking to Port during the season when we've likely been having chats with multiple players.
  12. Crows website has him at 186cm, so same height as Melk, 2cm smaller than Fritsch
  13. BBBs time at MFC might be short and sweet but glad he's at our club. Seems like a ripper bloke and a champion on and off the field.
  14. Grundy would be helpful in the ruck, but as you said if they bring in T-Mac for Melk and maybe even Tomlinson for Turner then you've got plenty of options to pinch-hit (with JvR) without changing the structure too much. Granted giving more away vs Cox than Cameron but hopefully finals Viney will retrieve anything no matter who is rucking for both teams.
  15. What's done is done, but found it odd he put a lot of emphasis in what they said he could become positionally, especially as that seems to echo what we said when we drafted him?
  16. "TEST" - i am being TESTED right now.
  17. With concerns over injuries (Brown/Tmac) and long-term futures (Grundy) a 1 year deal seems reasonable to me.
  18. Good seeing everyone snapping up seats. Still feels weird to me that the last finals win that a lot of us would have seen in person had the following players running around Jetta, OMac, Lewis, Frost, Hannan, Weideman, AVB, Jonesy, Tyson.
  19. Only Unreserved and Standing room tickets available in MCC on a walk up basis for members, MCC comment section furious people were allowed Visitor tickets
  20. MCC Ticket acquired - Spent far too long in the ticketek lounge and by the time I got out the portion of seats available on Level 1 & 2 were gone. Thursday night means i'll struggle to get there early for for a good walk up or level 3 seat so I am up on Level 4 for the first time in a while, but I will be there, Go Dees.
  21. Real devastated for Melk. Missed out on 2021 and has been in and out of the team, riding a redemption arc which has ended in such a cruel and abrupt manner. There's always stories of blokes being unlucky around finals, but this is a sad way for the Melk to go out. If we do have success a large part of it will be because of him. Part of this is why I think the AFL should have Gold AFL Premiership Medals (For the 23) and a Silver Equivalent (squad Players/those not in 23).
  22. Out - Harmes? Jordon? Dunstan? In - Parish?
  23. Last year I thought there should be more Dees in the side but i didn't vote so i didn't complain This year thought there should be more Dees in it but i didnt vote so I can't complain. See you all next year for more of the same.

Not sure if its cost of living crisis but thought it sold out much sooner in 2021 and 2022. But found it a little surprising theyre still available given we're up and about and for most of us, the only success we've seen we had to witness in lockdown on our tv.
