  1. Not that there was malice with Trac, but Moore's knee taking no prisoners in 2024. We can get a slightly better look at Ned Moyle at least.
  2. If we want to be unpredictable we need Sam Frost back. A true excitement machine, a football maverick, when he has the ball who knows what he will do next
  3. And another live track from my favourite artist of the last 5 years or so, The Bones of J.R Jones.
  4. These guys probably been my most played artist of the last year, two brothers just playing some sweet western/Latin American instrumental tunes. Recorded live the other day.
  5. This coupled with Klopp leaving, hope you've picked up a new hobby! All the best bro!
  6. I might be wrong here but remember last year reading we were the highest scoring 4th quarter team? Last 2 weeks we haven't gotten a goal in the last 2 weeks. Wonder what's changed? Apart from a little more inexperience in the team.
  7. panicked but also didn't disguise it at all
  8. I blew up in the group chat and the neutrals weren't having it
  9. Didn't look out of place, what happens when Salo is back though?
  10. 5 Contested Marks, just flip him to the other end.
  11. Thought we'd lose the game by 6-8 goals. Ended up shaking and nervous in the final minutes. Some fellas stepped up that game yes we missed a few, but Brisbane had a few peanut brain moments in the forward line as well. Little unlucky the May mark on the wing wasn't called. Also did Rivers run too far?
  12. Feel for K Brown, bit stiff being omitted after 10 minutes, can only imagine they wanted him getting more playing time in the 2s as opposed to being sub again. Hopefully we see him back in for the eagles game.
  13. Brown with 2 key involvements there, onya pup
  14. Have they said much about Spargo? A month ago he was changed from 2-3 weeks to TBC and has remained on TBC since.
  15. Wish this extended to opposition fans at games, some of the things I've heard have been deplorable.
  16. We're regularly having low disposal games from forwards - pretty much everyone has fallen victim to it this season, some repeatedly. Would love someone smarter than me to pin point it. Midfield game plan? Midfield disposal efficiency issue? Playing people in forwardline w/o the nous for it?
  17. Re: Fullarton i think we all need to remember what was said when we drafted him in “We’re really hopeful Tom’s got a lot of development in him," Lamb told AFL Trade Radio. “As the year sort of rolled on we thought we might need some backup in that area of the ground.” Hopeful development and back up!
  18. I tune into Casey games every so often so not fully aware of all the depth in the other teams. But its interesting to me that Carlton. Collingwood, Essendon are also low on the ladder despite doing well in the AFL. I know collingwood have had some injuries, but what does that say (if anything) about the depth of Carlton and Essendon?
  19. Have no issue with fines for staging if universally applied and it continues each week. But it’s not and it won’t, so this is garbage.
  20. I know Oliver didn't have a pre-season, we've now played 14 games, will he always be behind he 8ball this season or is there a point where he should reach parity - or even be fresher than the others?
  21. Not that it would happen, but it would be funny to replace a coach accused of wasting a golden era with another coach accused of wasting a golden era.
  22. Tucked at the bottom of this article about Trac https://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/afl-2024-reports-of-discontent-from-christian-petraccas-family-surprising-to-coach/news-story/e496e9721e3e27562c2aeffecf151cf2 Goodwin said No.13 pick Koltyn Tholstrup would be strongly considered to replace Petracca after he was sent back to the VFL following a difficult debut as a permanent forward in the round 5 loss to Brisbane. The 186cm prospect had 29 disposals, five tackles and kicked 1.2 playing through the midfield in a heavy VFL win over Collingwood before the bye. “We’ll bring a player in and expand some players’ roles to try and fill that void. It’s not about just one player, it’s about a team, it’s about a method and it’s about the collective, and that’s what we need to do – be really tight, united and forge our season ahead,” Goodwin said. “(Tholstrup) has progressed really strongly in the VFL. He’s certainly gone back and developed his game from a midfield perspective and also forward of centre. “He’s someone we’ll look at really closely. He’s a high draft pick with high talent, he gives enormous effort, he’s tough, so he’s someone that we’ll certainly look at.” Goodwin confirmed in-form key defender Adam Tomlinson would return against North Melbourne on Saturday night after he was left out of the King’s Birthday game to field a smaller backline.
  23. Potential changes being floated by list bosses include: - teams being able to match bids for Next Generation Academy players after pick 20, rather than after pick 40, or even no limitation at all like the Jamarra Ugle-Hagan draft; - reduced discounts for father-son bid matching; - limitations on how many picks can be used to match a bid; - a reduction in how many picks have a points value, instead of the current system where selections all the way down to pick 73 are valued. I don't mind the last two, some clubs have extracted the urine last few years. But timing will no doubt be cruel to us.
  24. TBF we were unlucky with injuries (Trenners) and expansion clubs (Scully) for those 2. That being said we retrieved compensation picks for losing Scully, traded for Dominic Barry and selected Jesse Hogan. The Dockers acquired Hogan and pick 65 from Melbourne in exchange for picks 6 and 23. Then we eventually traded Pick 6 for May and Kade Kolodjashnij. So In theory, drafting Scully helped get us the flag so can't be too angry at the recruiters 😀
