Oh my god I always forget that The Footy Show sucks and just enjoy it for what it is!! Then some randoms on a forum remind me that it is sexist dribble and then I just stop watching it.... Thank god people love mentioning that they don't like it so we all know and can now be further educated and grown up. Looking forward to watching The Footy Show with the other thousands of people who do.

I think Mark Neeld will have an amazing impact on Nathan Jones... Jones is a tough, fitness freak with average disposal and average understanding of the game at this point. Seeing the wonders Neeld worked as midfield coach of Dane Swan I can see Jonesy being Neeldy's "boy" and helping Jones take the next step as an AFL player.

Just want to write this and see what people think... Brad Green has been a Melbourne player since 1999. He has played 241 games. He has won games off his own boot. He has ran with the flight of the ball and nearly killed himself more than once. He turned down more money and success at Collingwood so he could remain a loyal one club player. He has given everything that he possibly could of himself to the Melbourne Football Club. However he had 1 bad year as a captain in 2010. Brad Green may or may not be finished, next year will decide that. But the fact that supporters of the Melbourne Football Club sit in judgement and declare he shouldn't be offered a deal and maybe he should retire is a disgrace. So he wasn't a good captain... Wow then we should delist him. What if Trengove is a bad captain and we suck in '12? What if Frawley is a bad captain and we suck in '12? Just take the captaincy off Greeny, it isn't that hard and it is all the MFC need to do in regards to Green.... Just let him play care free again. Whether he stays or goes, is good or bad, he at the very least deserves the slightest bit of respect. Or do we want another James Mcdonald situation? Pay respect to the people who have come before and what they have done.

Exactly..... Sanderson and Neeld would be amazing appointments in my opinion. Hopefully with a senior assistant like Dean Laidley with them.

Mark Neeld has been very successful and is Mick Malthouse's right hand man taking on a major roll since the start of 2010 as head assistant and midfield coach. It is a well known fact in footy circles that alot of the current Collingwood gameplan was was created by Malthouse and head assistant Mark Neeld. This is the man we should be chasing. Why waste our time chasing the rainbow? We will not land a big fish. (I wish that wasn't true) Chris Judd Robbie Warnock Shaun Burgoyne Alistair Clarkson (presumably Ross Lyon and Mick Malthouse) It doesn't happen for us, perhaps Mark Neeld could come in from the Collingwood culture, change ours and make us relevant.

Move on.... Time for assistants. I think Mark Neeld would be a great choice.

Sooooo we hire Todd Viney and that means we don't draft Jack Viney? Weird comment. The question would have to be asked whether or not Jack Viney would be ok with it but I can imagine he would love his dad to coach. I have seen many father/son coaching/playing duos in my life and alot of the time the kid loves it. Sometimes they hate it, but I think MFC and the Viney family would be smart enough to not do it if Jack was against it at all....

Mark 'Choco' Williams is the man!

He isn't the run down tackle player he was.... he is much more than that. He is an actual midfielder now... Real midfielders do not have the fitness build for repeated sprints these days, it's more about long distance running. Yeah he was in bad form before his injury, probably would have been dropped until we found out he was playing with an injury.... Now he has recovered, played about 3 quartersof VFL footy, an AFL game where he spent most of the day at FP in a team getting beaten, and now you want him dropped already? I could name many other players who have been shocking and uninjured for weeks so why blame Davey? Why is he the leadership scapegoat? Is it because everyone seems to think indiginous players have to 'break games open', 'break the lines', do something magical', 'be fast and run people down'?.... We are not making the finals, we need Aaron to play out the season, get some confidence and build toward 2012.

Davey only just returned from a 10 week lay off with an injury.... I'll give him more than 1 week before banishing him to the title of 'career over'.

Trade him to Sydney like he wants to be and get something worthy.... Draft picks and Jesse White / Sam Reid / 1st rounder No one deserves to ask for more money after being apart of a team that gets a coach sacked, and this is coming me, Col is in my top 3 fav players.
