  1. There were so many instances against the black and white team where we were forward facing about to enter 50 and we just blaze away to a 2 on 3 situation. Numerous occasions we had open options for players to take an extra second observe either handball or kick to players that were wide open no one within 20 meters. This happened at least a half a dozen times Friday night. Its a simple fix but we have been saying this for how long?
  2. Would not say no to Larkey at all but i reckon we have diddley squat chance of getting him if Norf pull off the coup of getting Clarkson. In saying that if he wants to play finals and we place a nice contract in front of him he might be tempted. We definitely need a Key Forward that is not injury prone and is entering his peak, everything Weed was suppose to be.
  3. Greg Stafford was or is in charge of set shot goal kicking routine techniques last time i recall.
  4. We have been crying out for a 3rd target since Tmac went down, won't hold my breath but it could work. Teams are taking too many uncontested marks inside forward 50. He could at least provide a contest and bring a better percentage to ground whilst taking the odd grab.
  5. The questions will be answered in September not August, hanging in there believers im taking names tonight. Tough one to swallow tonight real tough live to fight another day.
  6. Loading is not a factor tonight, this part of our season is complete. We had our chances and didn't convert, they tackled well and took nearly every chance they had
  7. This wasn't the effects of loading tonight we are beyond this part of the season. This defied logic, coughed up a game that should never have been in doubt.
  8. We weren't ruthless enough that's for sure. With the amount of clearance ball we were getting i can't believe we couldn't convert it into a high percentage of goals. Our footy smarts by our small fwds tonight wasn't great just all over the shop. I think we are now recognising the importance of the one and only t - shirt Tommy McDonald, our most important Fwd.
  9. Let them have their day nothing is won in August, filthy with the loss don't get me wrong.
  10. How many goals did they get from tackles inside 50 holding the balls? I can recall 4 maybe 5? anyone have the official number? Plain and simply put we didn't take our chances and apply scoreboard pressure when we had the game completely on our terms. The got a sniff like any crook does and were very very efficient, capitalised on their chances and kicked unbelievably straight. Smash and Grab job. Hope the players are hurting would rather this scenario play out in r21 than in a Prelim. Take the learnings and move on to next week.
  11. Missed opportunities inside 50, so many entries wasteful entries, almost doubled there clearances, Filth tackled well and took all there opportunities. 65 forward 50 entries to 41 there conversion rate was insane. Should not be losing games of footy with these statistics. Our own worst enemies.
  12. I just would love for a Steven May, Michael Hibberd or Jack Viney to give Ginnivan a friendly hello in the rules type spear tackle tonight. Nothing suspension worthy just a nice little reminder of who he is playing against and who the big dogs are in the game. Ed's a clever lad he knows this is good for the game and our finals preparation. He wouldn't do this during finals, all part of the build up and getting more people to the game, those silly Pie fools have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.
  13. We will slaughter them Freo style tonight they will feel the heat and hear the foot steps like never before. Lets see how good they are when the corridor is shut down like an unhygienic restaurant and retort to the Buckley way of footy. Key indicators of us being on are our mosquito fleet you will know within the first minute of the game.
  14. That we will never know. This wouldn't have seen the light of day had the crows won the flag in 2017.
  15. That's why its still lingering because he is still there. He's the last major domino to fall.
  16. It's is Rugby territory and that's why Andrew Fagan Crows CEO at the time got the sack.
  17. Disgrace! How does a top 4 team get the bottom club of the past 3 years twice in a season?
  18. They knew what they were doing.
  19. Friggen Geelong always kissed on the twigg. Still hiding players away too.
  20. I knew there were zones to distribute the player pool up until the draft, but didn't realise the way they were divided up to the clubs. Explains everything as to why Melbourne weren't successful through the 70's and early to mid 80's. No wonder there is so much hatred for Carlton and Hawthorn to an extent.
  21. That could work in a Three way trade.
  22. Only 1 change for mine unfortunately Weed Out, BBB In.
  23. Burgo working his magic looks Sharper and lighter.
  24. Can't believe we gave the Dogs hope last week. Carlton Crew well and truely finished for the year. Will miss the finals.
