Carlton's recruitment strategy has been nothing short of a Deebarcle. At no point did they target midfield bulls which they have none of, (Cripps aint a bull) hence the courting of Oliver. They have skewered their strategy in regards to age bracket so much they will not have a sustained tilt with the same core group, its all over the shop. I can't thank Jason Taylor and his crew enough with the selections and strategy they have gone with. Salem, Hunt, Trac, Clarry, Petty, Neal- Bullen, Spargo, Kosi, Action, Rivers, Viney, Harmesy(rookie), Gussy and Weed. In a 8 year period we assembled this core group which will have sustained tilts at premiership glory, absolute genius recruitment strategy and planning. With Lever, May, Langdon, BBB, Hibbo, Melk as the trade commodities which were needed to fit the puzzle. Gawn,Tmac, Jones, Nev are 10+ year veterans recruited before the plan took place and are crucial cogs in this tilt. Carlton have been dudded by their favourite Son SOS and co. Their planning and player analysis looks nothing like our masterpiece.

This result has zero relevance to us at all.

Swans with it all to do now with a young list, only way is down. AFL handouts will only take you so far in a short period of time.

Very wise Rodney didn't lose faith in T-shirt Tommy.

This will definitely be there Grand Final regardless of where its played. -
Talk about a free ride for 10 years under 4 coaches, what exactly have they achieved in that time for him to have remained as a senior assistant for so long? Deebacle. What an absolute rabble.

Is Jack Viney an automatic inclusion?

You can't have enough tough bastards to play in finals, it is a known fact they thrive in them. He is a bull who brings final type intensity to every contest. Absolute must. -
I think 55k might be a stretch this year, but an achievable feat might be the 52.5k record we achieved in 2019. The magical 60k might be achieved next year if we bring home the bacon this year.

Sounds like some promising bits of business by the club. Awesome news, welcome to the club Kye and Daniel. -
"The Dees play bruise free footy" i remember it well circa 2011, i hope someone lines him up in a legitimate tackle or bump.

It makes complete sense football state, understand the MND concept, can get a crowd, Collingwood already coming to Adelaide, short travel both teams can fly in- fly out. Big Freeze can be set up on the iconic Hill near the famous heritage listed scoreboard would make for amazing viewing. Plus the Adelaide Demon Army would be up and about. Would be good prep for Port in 6 weeks time. No Brainer.

The Dees Squeeze lives.

This marquee event deserves a crowd at the game and what better venue to provide that in the current climate than the picturesque Adelaide Oval. If the SA government come to the party and allow the teams the short flight in and flight out it would be a win, win for everybody. The locals would get behind it because its for a good cause and a better spectacle for TV audiences. No brainer.

Agree 4 points is the most important aspect in a footballing program and it always should be. Money, sponsorships, memberships are the flow on effect from winning games of football and being a successful brand will attract $$$. You do the best thing for your football club where success is concerned, in regards to ground relocation keeping it away from QLD is and always should be a football based decision not a financial one. 4 points over cash.
