I would rather play a team coming off the same AFL mandate rest period and training schedule (Bulldogs) than one that has had over a month more Training loads and system based training development. I don't see why Hibbo wouldn't want to continue on next year, he's waited all his footballing life for success and now its stairing him right in the face. Not at anytime this year did he lose one on one battles with his direct opponent. If you noticed during the Grand Final especially Johannison was taking him to the square and Hibbo never wilted once, he won 3-4 crucial 1on 1 battles and still has his pace. Might not play the way he did as a rebounding defender but we have others to play that running role eg. Bowser, Hunty, Salem etc. Might not play 18-22 games for the whole season, 12-16 might be his sweet spot, but anyone who shows during a season they can take Dusty to the cleaners deserves everyone's respect. The lure of a Grand Final on the MCG might be the swansong he is long craving for along with the rest of the group.

What would you rather an 85 points thumping in a Prelim where you are clearly trying or a 186 point hiding in R19 where there was clearly no effort and turmoil surrounding a club. I know which one I'd prefer.

The GF was amazing to be apart of don't get me wrong it was over and done with quiet quickly in the 4th. I got chills down the spine watching Gawny slot the winner back in R23. Im craving for the boys to make it back to the G.F at the G in 2022 for the club, Vic and NSW Dees sake. It was a drought breaking Premiership first and foremost the Perth public were amazing and put on a fantastic spectacle no doubt. Unfortunately there were 3 major elements missing from the win from my standpoint, which i won't elaborate on. These have been mentioned by the players and will no doubt spur on the boys to make it back to back and cement a legacy for this grand old club.

Luke Jackson is a once in a Generation type player, never have i seen a Ruckman at such a young age or any age for that matter take a game away from a side in such a short space of time. Just like in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls if you wanted a ring you had to come through Chicago the same applies with the AFL. If you want a medallon your neck your gonna have to come through Melbourne to get one and you'll have to have one hell of a Ruck combination to beat our dynamic duo. The club have to be reasonable but sensible at the same time, play this right and he could be one of the great of the Club and the game. Statue outside of the G type player we have on our hands right next to his partner in crime Sir Maximus.
