  1. He doesn't tackle Melk maybe he's been saving tackles for a big game like tommorow night. He did have 5 score involvements against the crows in 54% gametime which is decent. Can deliver a sumptuous ball on the chest.
  2. This is why there was no training on wednesday i would say makes sense now. Too much of a distraction to play the game now.
  3. AFL 360 had the starting time for the Dogs v Dees Friday night at 7PM EST.
  4. Did we training this morning by the way? Or was yesterday morning the main session?
  5. Harmes, Neal-Bullen and Spargo need to sacrifice on Friday night. These are not the games these types need to be concentrating on racking up numbers, if they are involved and amongst the stats well and good, but main focus should be libba, Bont, Daniel and mcrae.
  6. Sparrow has to come in for Melk for his tackling and ball winning prowess, the Dee squeeze also has to return Friday night.
  7. Club doing the right thing with Vines, holding him until after our break, very sensible.
  8. Neal-Bullen just to sit on him and make him accountable.
  9. Main sesson will be on tommorow surely? 2 days before game day.
  10. Salem is our QB key. Should not rush Viney back if not 100%, I reckon Sparrow should be a shoe in for his tackling intent at the contest and Half Forward. I want Bulldog blood. Carn Dees.
  11. The field umpires were nowhere near the action and the boundary umpire was front and center. Clearly the best man to make a call and didn't or can't it must be looked at discussed and changed. Immediately.
  12. I remember it like it was yesterday, i called up 5AA and them a piece of my mind.
  13. I have accepted the loss due to our own game mismanagement, so should the Umpire fraternity. They shrivelled under the pressure like male appendage in cold water in the last 3 minutes of the game. Nowhere to be seen.
  14. Let's see how the Dogs go against good defensive structured, high press pressure teams.
  15. Saturday's loss while is hurt has been taken right out of context. We have won the most quarters against top 8 teams everybody. We are 9-1 Close thread ffs.
  16. Mitch Brown coming in off a 4 day break just won't happen, another non performance from the tall will see him in for the Lions. He won't play at Casey next week if this the case on Friday Night, they'll hold him over till friday week.
  17. Interesting question P2J, we are 9-1 first time since the 50's and we are at a crossroads with our Tall Forward Timber.
  18. I have no issue M.Brown coming into the fray if his efforts reward selection as long as its across the board with selection. Doesn't matter who you are, how old you are, how much coin your on, if your on the list everyone is fair game in regards to a place in the best 22.
  19. Behind Tmac you'd say, until last night had been white hot.
  20. Your right there Lord not alot of hands went up in a deliberate, deliberate motion. At the same time its the slap in the face we needed as a team. You shouldn't lose a game being 16 pts up with 3 mins remaining. These are the types of games management scenarios we will need to handle better in future. An excellent lesson in closing a game out and not leaving the door open like we did last night. I do expect an apology from the head of umpiring though, a shocking call. Crows players clear intention was the boundary line
  21. I'd rather go into a game off the back of a 1 point loss than a 111 pts victory, i was there tonight and the performance was off in many ways. Thumbling in close and around the ground, misdirected skill execution, pressure acts, Marks inside 50, it looked like we had time warped back into 2019 with our long boming into the forward 50. Composure was lacking, Set shot goal kicking was also a large factor in the loss. As much as i would have liked to have won tonight we still have alot of structural issues to align in our Forward Line which much be addressed. Jacko will be better for the run, Salem was a big miss (top 3 in the BnF) Viney back in miss his toughness. The Weed is going to have to show more hunger for the contest other wise were going to have massive problems going forward. BBB is a must for Friday night, i think Sparrow is a must for the dogs his performances have been standing out like a sore thumb. Stay strong and keep the belief my fellow Demonlanders it was a bad day at then office which may have a silver lining.
  22. Ratten looks lost on the bench. St.Kilda look like spooners.
  23. We had limited intensity for large periods of the game, it looked like our eyes were on marvel for Friday against the Dogs. In the grand scheme of things not the worst outcome in the world. Intensity will be through the roof next week.
  24. Tonight was a wake up call, in a big way, we put the cue in the rack after clarry's snap and paid the price. Many players we down tonight, lessons to be learnt from tonights performance. Take a bow Clarry and Gawny.
  25. High scoring game couple of goals cheaply given away, good start though.
