New Balance Re-Commits For 3 More Years
YesitwasaWin4theAges replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
New Balance should be commened on such great loyalty to our Football Club. After this years deebarcle they could have easily packed up and went to another sporting organisation. -
They were in business together The Duck and Goody. Might still be, one mate looking after the other. You helped me in a tough period of my life with the North Melbourne saga, I'll help you out in your time of need this year. Decent article not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination.

Where was all this love for Frost 2 years ago. Incredible U turn from a lot of "so called" supporters on this forum. A lot were even mentioning to trade him to Adelaide to include in the Lever trade. Amazing simply amazing. Now those same posters are smoking Frosty's Pole. #shortmemories

Craig Jennings Gone at Seasons End
YesitwasaWin4theAges replied to praha's topic in Melbourne Demons
The only assistant that survives is Greg Stafford in my eyes, Gawn has stayed at a Elite level. For the rest of them, time is up, move on. -
Sam Frost - Contract status
YesitwasaWin4theAges replied to Red and Blue realist's topic in Melbourne Demons
Ive been one of Frosty's biggest admirers, He is a run and gun player, has well and truely cemented his spot in the best 22. His speed off the backline is invaluable, his kicking has improved over the last 12 months and yes has the odd clanger in him. But you know what he is a fighter who battles and competes, those types with speed don't grow on trees. Give him 3 years Dees. -
All part of the plan, all part of the bigger picture.

The eyes of everyone in the AFL world will be on this game to see what we conjure up. Some interesting match ups were certainly manufactured to the detriment of our overall productivity on Saturday, i.e Gawn tagging Grundy and our best ball user Salem tagging Sidebottom. Plus Oscar is still getting a run. Going to be very hard viewing that's for sure. To be or not to be, that is the question on Goody, the board and the supporters lips this Friday Night.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
YesitwasaWin4theAges replied to olisik's topic in Melbourne Demons
It sure will and i thoroughly expect our club and the media alike to bring it up to make the point. We got screwed when we were on our knees when GC and BWS came in the compitition. We got the scraps from the 3 drafts that were disgracefully compromised like everything else in the AFL. GC dont need further priority picks they need further assistance with better assistant coaches and development. Its obviously poor to non existent from the output they are producing. You've made the problem AFL, so don't take the easy option in trying to solve it with a priority pick. -
Have to go to the draft with our pick 2, we french connectioned our swaping of pick 2 at the end of 2013, lets not make the same mistake again please Dees. It would have to be an unbelievable offer to prize away pick 2 eg. Pick 2 for Brad Hill, Ed Langdon and their second rounder pick (28-30). Those mongrels would never take that. The club may never be in this position again in holding such a close range pick in the top 10. After 6 years people are still talking about the Josh Kelly trade, hope the club has learnt from 2013.

The Wiz vs Daicos at the G

Hope his Son jumps on board. #PleaseWiz -
Rocket science anyone?

Without a shadow of a doubt missed his grunt around stoppages and inside F50. Hope Burgess can piece him all together again. Important player when fit. Fingers crossed for the human wrecking bull.
-
Fantastic read Frap, something that stood out was how much we have missed Jake the snake at center clearances and in the forward 50 especially. Our F50 structure has been so dysfunctional it's not funny, Tmac has been playing injured without a doubt. Fritta like i and many have stated ain't a backman, he's a natural forward. I am convinced the FD have played Oscar knowing he is a liability to sure up pick 2. The effort has been there, so no one can question the validity of the team.

1 litre Coke, fanta, Lift bottles were 20 cents back in the 80's and 90's before plastic, they were absolute money makers.
