  1. He has to be the future BBP, he's 20 years old and positions like the wing role should be selected in national drafts and developed this is what i see in Bakes case and point. I can acknowledge this was not by design though like most things Melbourne. Before last year we had no designated wingers so we went out and recruited two on a long term deals, one has becoming an important midfield cog the other a suprise defensive inclusion at CHB alongside May and Lever. We need to recruit to strengthen our biggest weaknesses which are in our forward line. eg Power Forward and another quick pressure forward like Kosi.
  2. 2021 prediction? Our field kicking to improve through the roof, the only way we will go to the next level. Of course with some shrewd trading.
  3. Yes, Greeny yes. Finally some Melbourne people back involved. Bout pharken time....
  4. Why not at the right price, we are in need of a fwd/mid that is quick and applies elite pressure, something we need more of. I would be feeding right off of the dead carcass that is Essendrug.
  5. Richardson would have a more broader knowledge of the roIe due to what he has seen and experienced with other clubs eg. Pies, Port, St.K and Dees. I would like to see this come to fruition as it would rid us of the last piece of Administration that has lurked around the club for far too long.

Close thread nothing to see here anymore nominated Carltank. Move on.
  7. I too was at that game, silky with the ball in hand no doubt, but he is the definition of a down hill skier. Would rather put time, effort and coin into Baker's pockets.

Bid the pies up and make someone from their list fall out and create a unhappy environment. Make them pay for offering a Ruckman 1.2 for 7 years, one of De Goey or Mihochek will fall out the can't possibly keep both.
  9. You owe Mrs Goffy a present tonight.?
  10. Agree we are not, but our forward line has not functioned properly for 2 years. We let the ball walts out of our F50 without any sustained pressure whatsoever. I would offer Mihochek a 4 year deal on 600k a year, tackles, chases, takes pack marks, Good conversion rate, big tank and splits packs. Worth every cent.
  11. After watching WC v Coll game im convinced our Forward line is in need of a complete overhal. We are so far off a pressurized Forward line it ain't funny.

I liked to know who encouraged him to stack on weight? You kick 53 goals in a season, decide to put on 10 kgs in muscle for extra strength and think your going to perform the same way its insane.(Where were the coaches in all this?) He would have had to discuss it with Simon over a possible new role going forward closer to the goal square and its back fired massively. Tmac whatever weight you were playing at in 2018 get back to that and implement an agility program to regain your sharpness.

I thought young Baker showed some promise on the opposite wing so im not sure where he fits in all of a sudden. Simon knows he has to correct our deficiencies in 2021 and makes finals or its definitely curtains. Without a doubt Lewis would be trickling in his ear about coming on board. Clarksons treatment against other greats at Hawthorn might work in our favour here, just hope its a reasonable offer nothing over the top.
  14. He's from SA chook, it's alot better than Melbourne atm.
  15. Something smells here, Michaelangelo is a close friend of Darren through his time at Port. They've got money to burn the Crows, would have doubled our offer.
  16. Michaelangelo Ricci on Sen SA has stated that the Crows are making a big money move to entice Darren away from the Dees. What is his contractual status? This obviously has legs so something is not sitting right here.
  17. The four years at Freo with no medical solution to his calf problems destroyed him as a player, was always going to be an uphill battle getting him back to anywhere near his best. During those dark times he found solace in drowning his sorrows in the drink and whatever else came his way. Unfortunately he could never get back the appetite for the contest having seen it at close quarters i knew personally he was done. Training form while a good indicator doesn't replicate match form sadly for Harley the game had past him by.
  18. against all the weak sides.
  19. His time at the club whilst not overly productive, was a resounding success, he leaves as a much more developed player plus possibly netting us a player swap/ 3 way trade or 2nd round draft selection. Or straight swap for J. Cameron. ??????????????????????????????
  20. I'd be dealing with GWS they could offer us more one would think, but let the free for all begin. Highest bidder wins.
  21. I think we've found our other winger in the last month of footy in Oscar Baker.
  22. How could you not be inspired by the great man. One hell of a story teller to boot.
  23. Would definitely be a great asset in a specialist kicking capacity.
  24. Congratulations Wattsy on your career, i still remember all the excitement when we selected you with the No.1 pick like it was yesterday. The nail in the cofin goal QB 2017 will live long in the memory. Elite kick for goal and Elite field kicker something to hang your hat on. Always a Dee. p .s- Would love to know his accuracy for goal percentage.
  25. I can't stand that little skidmark.
