COVID Breaches by Clubs Could Derail Season
YesitwasaWin4theAges replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
How soft can you be. -
I reckon the main thinking behind bring Tmac back in is to give Gawny more rest. He is shouldering 90% of the ruck duties during a testing period. We don't lose that presents of 2 marking forwards when Action goes into ruck duties. We need Tmac closer to goal for his conversion rate, he is a dead eye [censored]. My only concern is the ball coming out of the back line easily, but if they are kicking it to the right positions we should have the numbers in and around the drop of the ball. I can tell you this much i would rather the dump kicks going into a 2 talls and 3 defenders type scenario in the F50 rather than a 1 on 3 situations we have found ourselves in this year and last. This will open it up for the likes of Fritta, Melk and Pickett to work their magic. Its an exciting experiment to see if this formula works, if all these scientists hadn't worked on formulas in the past none of them would be in existence. I really think this could take us to the next level, lets see if the players and brains trust can pull it off.

I don't know what has gotten into the selectors of late they are making all the right calls. Tmac, Weideman and Action all in the same forward line looks scrumptious especially for the kick down the line to help elevate us under pressure it just looks dangerous. We could really go to another level tommorow night with all these options, they must have really looked into the way Brisbane smashed Port at the Gabba 3 weeks ago. Im feeling like Big Kev at the moment. I'm excited. Carn you mighty Rucking Dees.??

Burgo, the EPL & Shorter Quarters
YesitwasaWin4theAges replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Learning from the best in Klopp, alot of people on here wouldn't like hearing that. We have tightened up at the back this year, Jurgen could be rubbing off on Simon, just waiting for the Forward line to click into gear. Could Tmac back in the line up unleash a 3 pronged Tall Forward line and take us to the promise land? One can only sit back and hope. -
CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide

Neale was running hot for the 2nd qtr especially, Clarry could have gone forward for a period and Harmes to Neale to clamp down on him and disturb his rhythm. 5 minutes per quarter wouldn't have hurt Polly. -

Pickett Fined for Rough Tackle

Exactly right, he was in a stationary position, a spear is executed with a 3-5 meter run up. Insanely stupid fine. -

CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide

Would have clamped down on Neale and won comfortably. Did not change the dynamic of our midfield set up one bit and it cost us. -
Why doesn't Garry or Schwarta bring this into the public domain, a quick free from the umps will stop all this but the weak [censored] wont pay anything right in front of their noses. Starting to really [censored] me off Chris Fagan with his attitude, his arrogance on the SEN radio this morning was unbelievable.

Tmac's conversion rate alone gets him in on Thurs night. -

Bennell will definitely not play. -
The one thing i take away tonight is we played right into their hands around stoppages, we didn't try to change anything up around them to change the dynamic. We played at about 60% capacity tonight, everything seemed to go their way ricochets, smothers, umpiring decisions, inaccurate goal kicking on our part. Yet still we had enough of the game's clearer opportunities to win the game. That is what's irritating the most about the loss. We are currently 3-4 if we go 3-5 its all over even with the game in hand. Then the serious questions will start to get asked.

Text book tackle, got pinged for one in the third into Gardner's bread basket, its mind boggling. like i've said in my previous post they have absolutely no feel for the game, they are confused because they have so many people kissing in their ears without one clear voice. All theory and no practical learnings, don't worry though the text books and video will make them better decision makers. Where will they hide tomorrow the Steve Hocking's of the world? who is going to come out and explain the bull [censored] abhorrent decisions that transpired tonight? Razor Ray?FMD. I'm expecting Dee fans to blow up on SEN tomorrow morning.

It's Curtains if we don't beat the Power Thurs night. Went missing in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. We had a crack but when it counted we shivered in front of goal. Melk has ice running through his veins, clinical tonight. Viney massive along with Salem.

We shot ourselves in the foot what's new, but [censored] me why would you score review such a simple call clearly marked inside the field of play. Did we want to play and kick for goal any worse, kicks smothered open goal misses, Bennell, Pickett, Langdon, Harmes and Weideman x2. Oh and i haven't even unleashed on the umpiring a pack of ring holes the lot of them, no feel for the game whats so ever. Thanks for letting the game continue Queensland here are a few frees to send our sincere gratitude from everyone at the AFL.

GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs Brisbane

We are getting very technical on the weather front. Maybe the local Dees on the Gold Coast heading to the game can give us an update upon arrival and just before the first bounce. -

Membership Tally 2020
YesitwasaWin4theAges replied to george_on_the_outer's topic in Melbourne Demons
I emailed the club and i recieved an automated msg back stating someone from the club will be in contact in 3-5 working days. Are interstate members still guaranteed a ticket to 1 interstate game e.g game against the Crows on the 5th of August? -
If we can manage a win Sunday it sets us up for Thursday night, whilst challenging its essentially with carefully management a free swing at Port. Easier to back up after a win than a loss as well.

Don't worry their turn will come. Hopefully they play us off a 4 day break in the catch up game.
