well it's all true. we're just so slow. I think lack of speed, a severe lack that is, can make us look worse in the efforts stakes.

What's wrong with it? These players and coaches get paid a lot of money to perform very poorly. They deserve the criticism, especially when it's effort based and it's the same issues year in year out.

I'd say every single key position player in the tac cup is currently better than Oscar McDonald.

The thing is, even winning the last 3 matches doesn't make up for yesterday's crap. I actually want to lose now to hopefully be the catalyst for Goodwin to get sacked and Oscar McDonald to go.

im worried about pickett. he fumbles, he falls over, he goes too quick for his own good, he lacks composure, he can't read the play, his tackling is poor. Not sure he has the tools to make it. hope I'm wrong

And to that stupid umpire who yells out 'not 15' to a clear 20m kick from Mitch Brown in the final seconds needs to be sited. we need heaps more speed. Kozzy Pickett got us from a very slow team to a slow team. Now we need a couple of more quick players to help in this regards.

Are you saying Goodwin is a good coach? And yes, I'm keeping our own fans to account. People saying things like 'Gunston is a worse version of Fritsch', 'Oliver needs to be dropped', 'Goodwin helped Weidemans development by not playing him', talking about kozzie like he is the next cyril rioli. I remember years ago that Tapscott was going to be our next Hurn, Watts our Riewoldt, Blease our Peter Matera, Bate was our Pavlich, Strauss was our next half back deledio.All of these things were actually said. Yet, when they failed, absolutely no recognition of why they didn't make it. Even to this day. We need to start acknowledging when players and coaches aren't up to gradeand stop inflating our own players. We're a 17th and 9-12th footy team but talk as if we're top 4. Speaking of which, I believe a thread or topic was started about how we can make top 4. Good God!

Such as? Just because I call it as I see it. You probably look at our list and coach through rose coloured glasses. we came from 4th to 17th to 9-12th. Someone's got to keep us accountable. You'd probably send Oliver to Casey and extend goody's contract.

9th flatters us. Some of the trash we've served up has been deplorable. Such as the one on the weekend. The lack of defensive pressure in a lot of our games is a systemic culture thing. No-one should be mentioning the close losses as we also had close wins against Carlton and gold coast.
