  1. Watching one of the Draft shows on Foxtel last night, they mentioned this kid for our first pick 21. OSCAR ALLEN Key forward, 191cm, 83kg, West Perth/Western Australia Buckenara says: Allen was one of the most consistent players of the championships, which saw him win the Larke Medal as the best player after booting 11 goals in four games. He’s a nice kick for goal, has a good pair of hands and makes the most of his chances. He’s a good size and appears suited to the modern half forward role because he has a big engine and can run all day. I expect he’ll be a standout at the draft combine. They mentioned him as playing more backline though, team him up with Lever in pre season. Be interesting to see how close they are.
  2. If Watts loves the club so much and wants to stay, then refuse a trade and stay. There's one way to prove the coaches are wrong, bust your arse on the training track, force your way into the firsts and play to your full potential, simple. Personally I hope he has the heart, and balls, to stay and prove the footy department wrong.
  3. I wonder if Tex Walker was [censored] at Bernie for leaving the Crows too? Tight arse wouldn't of rang and abused Bernie though, he was living at Bernie's house, wouldn't of wanted to get kicked out. ?
  4. I actually don't mind what I've seen, considering he's a young KPF. I've seen him execute some nice handballs in close, getting a few goal assists. I'm not expecting to see a lot from him for another 2 years, then we might start to see his potential.
  5. I support the club, I might joke every now and again that they're trying my patience and that I might not renew, or burn, my membership, but it's a slight exaggeration. ? If they traded Hogen, Petracca and Brayshaw with Watts, that might push me over the limit. ?
  6. If we give up two 1st round draft picks for Lever, I'd be [censored], I'll renew my membership still, but the club would be pushing my limits. ?
  7. I didn't say he was worth, or that we'd get, two 1st round picks for him, I said that is what I'd demand if I were the Dees. I'd then hope for at least a 1st round pick, hopefully a 2nd round pick too because he's still contracted for 2 years, if Swans/Port want him badly enough, make them pay overs. ? If not, we keep him and hope that he pulls his finger out and plays to his potential. I'd prefer to keep him rather then throw him away for a 2nd round pick. ??
  8. I want a 1st round draft pick for Watts, since he's still contracted I'd prefer to play hard ball and say two 1st round picks, or at the minimum, this years 1st round and next years 2nd round. If they set on the Lever deal, I'd use Swans/Ports 1st round pick and our 2nd round on that deal, then use our pick 10 to try and get Andrew Brayshaw. Tippet would be a complete waste.
  9. And we also had our key forward miss most of the year, not to mention other injuries. You have to be kidding yourself if you don't believe ex players aren't going to have a soft spot for teams they played for, doesn't mean they barrack for them when we play against them. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Bernie Vince was there somewhere barracking for Adelaide. ?
  10. Another reason I love the kid, last year he attached himself to Jones during the off season to improve his gut running, the kid definitely has the right mind set. Another reason that I'd love us to use our pick 10 and pick up Andrew Brayshaw if he's still there at that stage. Andrew has skill and he'd feed off the work that Gus is doing. ?
  11. Do you also expect Jordan Lewis not to attend the Hawks 10 year reunion of their 2008 GF win? This is an absolute joke, our club isn't involved so he is there supporting his old club and friends, I have no issues at all with him wearing the scarf, he was barracking for the Tigers to win after all.
  12. Forget Lever and pick up Andrew Brayshaw with pick 10. ? Both brothers to dominate our midfield, and less likely to want to leave the club with both there. ??
  13. Crows by 40 pts. I hope it's closer though, a goal in it would be fantastic to watch.
  14. Are they more worried about the Umpires mixing the teams/players up then the players getting confused? Otherwise, why not let the teams decide if one needs to wear the clash jumper? I suppose Adelaide could be turds and still make them wear the clash top anyway. ?
  15. Not being a smartarse here, but are you talking about Shiel's taped shoulder, BB, or another injury? Did he injure it again recently, because he always has it taped up? Although I also agree that players target injuries, in this case I don't think it's true though, the taped shoulder was on the other side of the direction Cotchin was coming in from. Normally I would expect the MRP to probably fine the player in this case, but I honestly don't think they'll have the balls in this case because Cotchin already has the two fines.
  16. I don't want to give up two 1st round picks. ?
  17. Interesting, I saw him as a pure midfielder and I highly rate his skills, take away his interrupted last two seasons and swap them for a couple of full seasons and I think he'll be a gun. I also believe that he'll be able to adapt to a halfback or fwd roll. Fingers crossed.
  18. Hope Adelaide smash the crap out of these turds next week, I detest the Geelong scum. Even though I might get abused for saying this, but I hope the Tigers make the GF too. ? ?
  19. Did what we wanted, showed his skill, poise and decision making with the ball on field, hopefully it rubs off on some of our other players...Tyson etc. ????
  20. I see a lot of young Dusty in Petracca, both powerful young kids who show glimpses of pure class. Remember how poor Dusty was at running out games too, it's probably only been the last few years that Dusty has started running out full games, I think Petracca will be the same, a few pre seasons needed to get his tank up. ??
  21. Love to get Brayshaw with our 2nd pick. ? Hopefully he's still there at pick 27 ?
  22. Since we have trouble winning two games in a row, it now looks good for us to win our first final game, as long as the Crows beat the Eagles. ?
  23. Port butchered a few chances late in that quarter. ?
  24. Dogs getting looked after beautifully by the umps from what I've seen.
