all i can say is, compare the dees shop and range of merchandise with that of tottenham hotspur http://shop.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs08/index.php granted, they are a much richer english premier league club with a big following, but gee theres a lot of stuff on there.

no because bruce over kicked the ball. jonesy only moved because he had to - and he had to go backwards. if bruce had hit jones on the chest, wirrapanda wouldnt have even made a contest.

i love her passion

it was a bruce kick. i remember thinking that at the time. [censored] bruce, hospital kick. but the transformer went down, got up, said "i am optimus prime" had a breather and returned. what a gun

no, go for youth and only youth. it will mean we have a core group of players between 18-23, which we need, because when they get to 24-29 in 6 years time, they will be absoulte guns, having played with eachother for 6 years. this is not a 2011 team, its a 2015 team. wakey wakey

good team effort

i would love to see PJ given a few games at CHF as a big target, and get some crumb around him. (i know we dont have any crumbers but anyway) i think he could offer quite a bit as a power forward, is huge, has pace, has a big engine. be interesting to see how he went for a few weeks

i just want to earn some respect. having eddie [censored] macguire come on the big screen at sandpit dome 2 weeks ago and just go, they are going to get smashed, they are hopeless, and then him being proven right, [censored] it makes me angry as [censored]. win!

my two cents is for the two best midfielders. i think we can back in watts, bate, jurrah and co to actually take marks in the forwardline if they have a gun midfield kicking them the ball!
-
tell you what else i loved about the guy. he can apply pressure! he tackles hard, and chases hard! that goal was amazing. i jumped around like a lunatic

He has done nothing to show me why he went number 1 pick

just like gary ablett did. all those photos of players taking marks with their eyes closed. anyway, he was a bit casual but he had space - not expecting a hit, and because there was no one around him. the kid is clever. he will adjust, and be a gun, make no mistake. -
why in the hell should i be charged $5.50 handling WHEN I HAVE TO PRINT THE TICKET MYSELF!???? NO ONE HAS HANDLED MY TICKET!!!!!!!
-
its a [censored] nightmare. can anyone tell me what website i go to and where to get my ticket given that im a 17 game member. im also an mcc member if that helps! might be worth forking out $30 to sit on level 2 - but i have no idea where the hell i would go to buy the tickets

i think the afl should be looking into salary cap issues before they look into draft order issus IMHO. the visy/judd/carlton saga is a clear example of where the salary cap itself is fine but the extra payments from visy are clearly what got judd to the club. this is truly a disgrace. it also compromises the draft to some extent, in that if you are rich you get better. i am also in favour of placing a salary cap on entire football departments. as for the draft order, i think its fairly clear that if you are crap you need to get the picks. perhaps a weighted lottery excluding priority picks. for example, we would get #1 this year still, if we were to win 4 or less, but the next 8 would be decided on a lottery system (at least for the first round). so potentially we would have pick 1 and one of picks 2-9. if that makes sense. last year we would have had 17 still. but one of picks 1-8.

[censored] OATH. -
we only have a slight chance if the heavens open and it rains buckets, cats and dogs. we have played with a wet slippery ball a few times this year (once in preseason in cairns), and this should favour us against the indoor team of the saints. pray for more rain

Dees List - Post your order of Preference
biggestred replied to dee-luded's topic in Melbourne Demons
by the way, i would love to see us go hardcore after youth, and just get rid of the oldies. just say, guys, sorry, youre not going to be part of it, we have one last big draft year before the GC, sorry but see you later. well trade you if you like. etc. then have 3 years of draft picks come through together under bailey. give them 100 games each....get them to 24, 25, 26, and lookout world -
Dees List - Post your order of Preference
biggestred replied to dee-luded's topic in Melbourne Demons
tbh, that list is so young, youd have to give them some more time - wouldnt want to lose them. the ones who are looking likely to get the bullet at the end of the year are bell - 24 and cant get a game jamar then youve got bruce, macca, robbo, wheels, green kinda, wheatley, getting on in years. - unfortunately as much as i lvoe these guys, they arent going to be a part of our next flag, simply because of their age. although i wouldnt mind seeing green as a 3rd tall when he gets older. so now we start to talk about talent, and those who are talentless. the bottom end of teh talent, as i see it, are well, newton is a key forward and cant get a game in a team that is losing because it has no forward line and it would be unfair of me to comment on guys who i havent seen play. such as hughes, healy, mckenzie, mcnamara, bail etc. so basically i think we are looking at losing, bell, jamar, newton, possibly junior (retired), robbo (possibly retired as well), maybe wheatley and whelan - although thatd be tough on those guys, since they are still only late twenties. would probably get games elsewhere, but if we are going after youth hardcore, then theyll be the ones to make way. either way, tough to cut this list at the end of the year
