  1. My long held belief, it isnt who wins the tap out, it only matters once it hits the ground
  2. 21 votes - Goodwin - seriously impressive from gameplan, match-ups and huddle intensity. Focused on shutting down Bombers danger men. Brilliant. Now for the players 6- Langdon 5- ANB 4- McVee 3- Rivers 2- Windsor 1- Clarry
  3. A great team man - played any role asked. BTW how short a team did we play with that day
  4. Finally took the hanger - officially now the sky is the limit!
  5. We recruited Fullarton - time to play him. We miss Max in the ruck duels however even more in the back 50. We didnt look as confident when we wasnt there in Q4 yesterday. Another great challenge - bring it on
  6. I want him to start running assertively with the ball when he gets it and put the defence on its heels. I understand he is playing to instruction however too often he gets it and stops. Its hard to offer damage when doing that constantly.
  7. Great post - I agree. Maybe it was knowing they should win however these guys all looked likely players. Kolt's swag and Turner jumping at everything. Was very enjoyable. I also thought the defensive pressure particularly in the second was stuff I had not seen for a while. An enjoyable win
  8. Contributed well today - good to watch live
  9. 6 - Rivers - long may he become a mainstay in the middle 5- JVR - worrying couple of shots though or maybe it was swirly at the Richmond end 4 - Windsor - dominant 3- Tmac 2 - Kozzie 1 - Langdon
  10. Having watched many other teams live this year my view a month ago was no and now you add a number of younger players who wont be able to run out games as well as veterans, IMHO it is definitely no right now. Still Friday was a good step forward and don't discount some of our experienced players may be showing some fatigue from gruelling finals games
  11. Top 3 Dees in my lifetime. Always felt this year was more about getting through it in a positive mindset and back to AFLFA Champion status in 2025. Can't have the preseason he had a deliver to the same elite level we have been so lucky to witness.
  12. I agree - 2 teams going opposite directions right now. Swans look unstoppable however if Brisbane get back to their best they could take them on GF day
  13. I wouldnt be advocating debuts on a Friday night V the Lions. This one could get very ugly. At best keep the rookies who played on Saturday night. Plenty of time later in the year to debut.
  14. Ive cheered him and James on this year. They made career choices as we all would. Still a loss but looking forward
  15. I don't think the challenge is the injuries, more wear and tear that is not obviously evident and the forward line. Don't mind the thought of managing some players this year and going hard in 2025 if we don't turn things around in the next 2 weeks
  16. Couldnt be asking for more form him. Very dependable and deserves some praise. Team has never been the same since he did his foot in 2022
  17. 6- ANB 5- Gawn 4- Rivers 3 - Kozzie 2 - TMAc 1 - Salem
  18. Cant keep reflecting on past decisions, no doubt some decisions look incorrect in hindsight. The key now is recruiting real FA talent and trading in the right players, not top up. I know every club is trying to do that however if we dont win well in October with trades and signings, 2025 will be another disappointing year
  19. 6 - Gawn 5- Trac 4- Tommo 3- Tmac 2- Viney 1 - Salem
  20. Turning the ball over at a frightening rate. Also their midfield is very one paced so they have been exposed for leg speed. If they fix their turnovers they will win games sure enough
  21. Pressure their midfield they cough it up. Let Matt Crouch kick long all day
  22. As they should - at our best no one touches us. If the club is taking that mindset I applaud it!
  23. Injuri3s are part of the game, never let them sour a win. Great test for the remaining defenders. Hawthorn were well on top for parts of qtr 2 and 3, just couldn’t score. Our ball movement is great
  24. Petty back settled the back 6 yesterday. Tommo in and ultimately it’s about how easy the opposition get it in their 50. Lock them down mids
  25. You would be a fool to underestimate them. Some great talent coming through and well coached.
