The intensity and effort in the third was great to watch. Overall we still lack skill and speed, and I don't see much at Casey which changes that. We again need to be bold at the trade table.
I remember after the disaster of 99 the players committed to training everyday duringn the end of season trip. They came back fitter than ever and we had our most successful season since 64.
Trading the pick may suggest our development gaps are still in existence. Ultimately it all depends on the deal we get. Maybe some GWS/GC players wanting to come back to Vic?
The replacement coach is ultra critical because by the end of the Roos coaching term, at best e will have created the gameplan for success and attained the players to execute that gameplan. I have said it before I think only 5 players on the list are untouchable currently.
A Demon fan growing up he gave teriffic service for a large part. Seemed losing and new regiemes got to him in the end. Still remember him belting out the song in our victory at Geelong in 2005. Great passion in those days.
