Pretty much it. Was there, lions were manic and Dees laconic. Was very humid it had to be said so conditions had to be adapted to however, 5 mins in the result was obvious. Can’t remember being smashed in clearances so much with this group

I look at it this way, the doubled over hands on hips test. At half time we had a 2:1 ratio of players doubled over and hands on hips. What this means to me is yes we are tired. This may not be because we are less fit - it may be the result of getting everyones best for 20 weeks + a number of weeks of less than 7 days between games. Agree pre finals bye is critical

this may have been mentioned previously on Demonland however this team has had the tendency to kick goals in quick succession across the year. Quite common to kick 4 goals in 10 mins, 6 in 15 mins and tear games open. Thankfully they saved the best till last
