A step in entirely the wrong direction. Followed US sports for a long time. The player movement is not something to be emulated IMHO -

I noticed this. The game plan certainly focuses on shutting down the opposition danger players and letting players with lower efficiency get plenty of it. Smart

Am in favour of playing Laurie or Jordan full game time. Need to build depth. Stringer a danger and need to play Redman close. Redman is their general down back

Yes - every time we get stopped on the half back flank and bomb long it’s only a question of when the opposition score. For mine it’s clear, we must win the clearances to win the game. Our attack must come from winning in the middle

Pretty much it. Was there, lions were manic and Dees laconic. Was very humid it had to be said so conditions had to be adapted to however, 5 mins in the result was obvious. Can’t remember being smashed in clearances so much with this group
