He's that heart and soul of the middle and is slipping into top form quickly. 4 Martin - What more needs to be said. More touches than the 3 Bombers talls together. 3 Gysberts - Classy, busy and damaging This is where it gets hard for me! 2 Trengove - The kid is just all class. 1 Scully - If for no other reason than the fact he's played half a game of footy at any level in 4 months and can still come in and be a force over the duration of the game. Kicked a very important goal as well.

Kicking a goal under no pressure illustrates elite kicking? I think not.

Maric may have an elite kick on the track, or in his past. But I'm yet to see it as an elite kick a AFL level.

Over 27 years Mick Malthouse has coached 648 games for 372 wins, 6 draws and 3 premierships at a winning percentage of 57.4 and a losin percentage of only 41.66%. In the past 22 finals series' (including this one) only 4 have not featured a team coached by MM. In the past 22 years he has coached 3 premiers and reached 6 grand finals. I think any question marks over his coaching are miniscule.

For those interested, we had a whopping 10 games extra experience per player than Gold Coast had. They also had Gary Ablett dominating through the middle. We were missing 8 of our best 22 (Jamar, Garland, Grimes, Trengove, Scully, Davey, Tapscott, Bail). It'd be interesting to see how Mckenna would go about it with Zac Smith, Nathan Bock, Harbrow, Mckenzie, Rischitelli and Swallow out of the team - especially considering that their 6 losses have come at an average of 90.3 points.

Spiffing theory. Swans beat Essendon by 5 points. Hawks beat Tigers by 63 points. Brisbane had a bye. Gold Coast beat port by 3 points. West Coast lost to Essendon by 16 points. Adelaide beat Gold Coast by 57 points. North lost to Brisbane by 14 points. Saints beat Freo by 46. Must be true.

Instead of being sent with your membership, they should've been handed out before the game on Friday. I worry it could be an embarrassment on friday.

And they didn't lose by 96 points so I don't think we have to worry about that...
