  1. Definitely the latter. And I'm definitely happy about it!
  2. I haven't read the thread - but I assume there's an insinuation of "he's rubbish, won't be any good for us - perfect trade bait."
  3. A great attempt at displaying faux-intelligence.
  4. Push and shove setting the scene? Just like Carroll used to do? Will never forget him roughing up Riewoldt... 80 odd points later...
  5. I find that strange (not necessarily disputing it) but I understood that for the last few years we've been good at scoring once inside 50. Our problem was getting it in there in the first place.
  6. Luckily I taped the W.C. game and watched that repeatedly over the summer. I deleted it after the bye...
  7. I'm loving Collingwood fan's spouting the "we go whenever rah rah" we have such more loyal fanz dan uze. Their membership has gone from 46 to 70 thousand plus in 2 years. I just can't figure out why.
  8. We will lose by 50+. Take note of this if you desire.
  9. Not that I disagree with your last sentence, but those stats explain to me exactly why we are so wildly up and down. That, coupled with the loss of an AA ruckman in Jamar, Trengove, Grimes, Rivers while also missing two key best 22 players in Mckenzie and Scully not to mention the mid-game losses of Garland and Bail show pretty clearly why we're up and down. IMO anyway.
  10. Yeah...because Mckenzie was such a rubbish pickup...
  11. Such an arrogant human...
  12. I wouldn't want to be a North player this weekend.
  13. Complete trash. They have clearly ignored every argument raised - not to mention the arguments of the fans and his peers! Pre-determined result - they should've just refused the tribunal hearing and saved us all the time. A perfect tackle for which no Adelaide player remonstrated against. If it wasn't the perfect tackle, he would've been suspended for 2 more weeks for the tackle on Brodie Smith 3 seconds later. The panel was told by the chair on Tuesday night to regard the conduct of the tackler and not the consequence of the tackle. This has been clearly ignored as the only thing mentioned has been the concussion. How this is worse than deliberately elbowing someone to the face 50 metres of the ball is well and truly beyond the minds of mere mortals (or sane humans). To suspend a guy who has never even been reported in his life for a perfect tackle for three weeks because the guy he tackled swung his leg as he was tackled is just the most pathetically ridiculous outcome I could have imagined. Very angry about this, very angry indeed.
  14. Never reported in his career, including juniors! Never reported, let alone suspended. The first time he gets cited is after the match for an incident that didn't even receieve a free kick, nor any reaction from Adelaide players, and it was for a perfectly laid tackle!
  15. Re: His injury being a factor - I seem to recall reading that the chair saying to ignore the consequences and focus on the tackle (or something similar).
  16. If our three home games hadnt have been against Brisbane Sydney and Adelaide it'd be different. This isn't a money making draw this is a winning games draw.
  17. Of the last 32 quarters against them, we've led at the end of one of them - last year up by two points at 3/4 time.
  18. This forum is rubbish. Demoted because of an exclamation/question mark double whammy. No conviction.
  19. I think you'll get up 5-4 Old Man.
  20. I saw him on Telly Rogue! It was at about 5pm and he didn't seem too happy with the fit of his jumper...
