  1. Jaded, it was definitely, "DIDAK, YOUR MY HERO" Haha scum, absolute scum. They honestly dont have a clue. Wanted to use season deerailed last year, but chose against it but couldn't use it anyway. Today was a joke, no one cared, yet they'll still [censored] on about it. Mind you almost blew a top reading them telling us to get off "our" ground, but then thought better, they're scum. We're the original Melbourne team who have beaten the Scum in 6 grand finals. They can go fcuk a sleeve

    The Walk

Was great to get all the fans together. Gutted about the result but proud we could be so united! Should be an annual tradition on QB
  3. Don't get me wrong, i hope he loves the club and i hope to see a lot more of him. Just that when he was on stage, i thought he'd say something of his own time, but only interviewed Robbie Flower. Then about half hour later i went into the foyeur and he was interviewing Neita for TV.
  4. As opposed to the anorexic fat bloke Hopgood was?
  5. I say i was there and didn't feel it much from him. Maybe he did feel it, but he didn't exactly express that to the crowd. Maybe he just didn't want to.
  6. Haha, man you got to judge a Whelan goal, you have to earn it!! That's funny stuff
  7. Mick, you weren't the goal umpire were you? What happened mate?
  8. What a game, far out
  9. What does the Heroes book say about Hopgood? Interested that the only product with signatures from each Hero was a big board with signed player cards on it, should've been a jumper
  10. i'm so claiming that! That's fantastic! He should thank me. Literally telling him all night. Go wheels!
  11. wonder if wheels kicked any, i told him last night he needed to so he could play 1s in the forwardline
  12. I didn't quite get that the Ox felt happy to be there. Connoly's speech was great, such a good speaker, probably the best at our club. Gardiner's set up the night well
  13. Thought it went for 25 in the end. But i'm in your boat, sunlight is evil
  14. Gardner's call that when our club was formed no one had hear of Hitler, Stalin or Collingwood was great
  15. I'd take Whelan over Rigoni, Hopgood or Mcdonald A. any day. Maybe even over Matt Febey. I think only injury ruined it for him. Otherwise he would've been a grand final player, and a player in 4 other finals series who wouldve played much closer to 200 games
  16. What a night. Just amazing! Well worth it. Great atmosphere, some great speeches, some bloody amazing footage! And Wheels sat at my table!! Can't get better than that. Only thing i found odd was the Ox, didn't seem like he wanted to be there when he spoke, seemed to be just interviewing Flower, and then went to the foyer with a camera to interview Neitz. But all in all, amazing night and one i'll never forget (with the help of photos). Players were pumped to, by all accounts they just felt like they wanted to run out on the ground then and there it fired them up that much.
  17. Over the course of history, the most amount of players to win a premiership wouldn't have been draft picks at all, but rather ended up at their team as a result of the zone system. We need to get zone players then, they're the most successful
  18. Yze keeps his spot in the final team. Must only be because Robbo is out. Yze to stay in the forwardline, doesn't say much for Newton at present (unless he's still injured) Hope Yze plays like he did a few QB's ago...
  19. Anyone who says this guy isn't the best, or at least one of the best, players in the competition needs to get a copy of last nights game. The guy is a freak, amazing control, strength, speed, and brings teammates into the game so easily, and with such purpose. I know this doesn't achieve much, but i think it's right to applaud great players as we see them. If only he wore Red and Blue
  20. Haha yeah i shot him a quick reply, to which he replied to in what i can only assume is some type of quasi-English. Not sure if i'll attack again, clearly he's an idiot
  21. Glad Bell's in, sad Frawley's out but hopefully that means rivers will play. Maybe my memory's gone, but didn't Bell get a reprieve last week?
  22. I'm pumped from it, but can't help but feel it'll be a flop. Just something about it just seems a bit... i dunno. A march to the G, with no real knowledge of why you should be there. Just worried it won't attract the average fan. Hope it does though
  23. Indeed, if Monday draws 66,656 people, we'll have an average home attendance of 40,000. Which would be 7th best. Now of course it'll be hurt by the Manuka game, but that's another reason to get rid of it. We can always claim to only count MCG crowds.
  24. Yeah, Y and J will get a workout pre-march i think
  25. I'm hoping, beyond reason, that this is a non commital statement from Demetriou. Surely he knows that this match has only once drawn below 60,000, and as such knows that this will not feature less that 60. Could even be 80, pies fans would love to win this one after the last 4. Besides, the only one to drop below 60,000, in 2004, was one of the most bitterly cold days i can remember. Does anyone else remember it? Not just the rain, but was very very cold, following on from 3 QB thrashings. The game is now becomming an institution, we need to add something though to make it a permanant fixture. At the moment it's just two (ex)rivals playing on a timed out holiday. We need to add something to it, though i don't know how, and we'll be fine. It's a massive game and i hope to God melbourne supporters really turn out to make this game a massive one. For the noncommital statement however, i think we'll be left wanting. Vlad has his head up his..
