I'd reckon most goals kicked in Aussie Rules footy come from errors such as those outlined. IMO it's about limiting your own errors and maximizing the opportunity to create opposition errors.

I think the split round has been poor to you Jackaub, but you're not alone. Our attack on the ball is getting worse by the week? We had one poor game at a ground we're always poor at, the week before our attack on the ball was easily equal to (at least) the Magpies attack on the ball. We had a poor first quarter against the Blues then were pretty good for the rest. We were belted by the premiership favourites on their dunghill. We beat Port up in Darwin, had a poor game against the Weagles, but a ripper against the Dogs. Why people resort to throwaway lines so often bewhilders me. People need to remember past the most recent match, especially when making generalisations. We're a young team, who will be unpredictable from week to week. The only consistent with us is that we'll be inconsistent (and struggle to get inside 50's!).

Go through all of matches and point out the two full matches and the few quarters where we have shown genuine determination. Also, please illustrate all of the matches, and other quarters here and there, where we did not have a genuine determination to win.

Gee. A few people need to take a bit of their own medicine. Show me where I had a go at any other poster... Demonland is a brilliant site and I hardly think that anyone can claim that someone expressing their frustration at one of their players' names being spelt incorrectly is bringing the site down. I must also say - what's with the attitude of 'I'm not perfect, unlike you.' It seems to crop up so often. In no way have I ever claimed to be perfect (feel free to do research if you desire) but surely when you're found out having made a mistake you be adult enough to accept it, take it and move on - any other response indicates you think that it's reasonable and acceptable to get such an easy name wrong.
