There has to be two players accountable overall for this stat - the forward line receiver needs to do his bit as well I'd have thought. Not to say we don't just bomb it away, I think we do; but I'd reckon you need to look at this in parallel with (perhaps) a contested marks inside 50 stat as well.

Disagree with the OP. I went to both games, the Port game was the worst game I've been to in years (bar St Kilda last year). We weren't as bad against Richmond, a better opponent, just couldn't move the ball forward of centre.
