Robbo's pre-season likes and dislikes
I had to laugh last year when, at the start of the finals series, he picked Melbourne to finish runners up for the flag, but also tipped Geelong (on the same page) to beat us in the elimination final.

I reckon they’re simulating the temperature at the MCG when he’ll make his return

POST MATCH DISCUSSION: Melbourne vs Richmond - JLT 01
I think we should also recognise that Preuss played yesterday while Nar Nar Goon was under threat from fire (where he lives). Decent reason to be distracted. Big shout out to the fireys doing a terrific job who didn’t get to watch the footy.

POST MATCH DISCUSSION: Melbourne vs Richmond - JLT 01
I blame myself (MFCSS). The score was 52 - 22 our way when I turned it on. 10 mins later, scores were level.

Obviously he’s given that some thought

BEST ONE CLUB TEAM
Both Cordner and Stynes won a Brownlow as s ruck. As much as I love Max, not sure he’s the starting ruck.

Plough: 3 Issues Dees Need to Overcome
On inconsistency - didn't we win something like 22 quarters in a row mid last year? Sure we had some off days. No team wins 22 H&A games in a year. We were 1 win off top 4, 2 wins of finishing second. We're maturing, and even with a tougher draw this year I'd expect us to be more consistent this year.

Nailed it except for Footscray.

Express Yourself
Two points- It’s hard enough to get good sponsors, we should look after them esp. on higher profile games secondly, as an employer, I notice casual Friday extends beyond the dress sense to attitude. I’d like to think the players mindset focusses on game day starting from getting dressed.

Should they be called out???
Luci’s a chap-ette Saty, FYI only. What you’ve shared is awful, I hope they gave him a decent clip on the way to the car park.

Most Heartwarming Win?
Great thread. I go to the games with my 13 yo boy, and over the years really get a kick out of his reactions when we get up. My top three on this basis: 1. 2018 Geelong final - Mitch strolling past us into the forward pocket to ice the game. Huge noise from the crowd (I teared up when I saw my boy's reaction). 2. QB 2017 - similarly, Jack Watts strolling past us into the forward pocket to ice the game. Huge noise behind us from the Punt Rd end (I'll never forget that one). 3. Me and my boy went to Gold Coast for a boy's weekend in 2016, we kicked 16 goals in the second half even though it was close at half time. I can't remember us ever kicking 16 goals in a half. Great weekend away.
