Random MFC encounters
I was standing next to Wheels in [censored] Smiths at Chadstone in my Melbourne polo shirt on a weekend in about 2004, looking at him thinking “I’m sure I know this guy” - worked it out 10 seconds after he left. i was hungover to be fair. just noticed the censor - I’ll refer to the store as Richard Smiths

2018 Demonland Banner 2.0
Peter Moore finished playing 30 years ago. Why did he get a gig on the banner?

2018 Demonland Banner 2.0
If the last position vacant is deemed closest to the exit lounge (as Hogan proved) then I vote for JKH

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I think Melbourne have looked after Jesse admirably. I think Jesse respected that honourably. He will be missed. He was my boy's favourite player. But for the sake of his wellbeing, I hope he finds balance in his life home in Perth and a happy career at Freo. I'll still cheer for you when you next front up at the G to receive a bath from the 2019 premiers. All the best.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Simon Goodwin needs to write a book, so I can learn first hand from the master. What an effing legend. BTW - welcome to the club Mr May. You've carried yourself beautifully through this period and I can't wait to see you contribute to what will be the meanest defence in the league coupled with the highest scoring forward line. I'm changing my username to Big Kev. I'm excited.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
From 2011-2015 I was the opposite of this.

Rumour File
If this was to transpire JD, and we gave Hunt + 2nd round pick to BNE for pick 5; why wouldn't we trade 5 to GC for May and keep Hogan - just to stick it up Freo. (It would be especially nice - Freo would still need to move Neale and will have even less coming back) Wouldn't want to lose Hunt tho, that said.

He goes alright.

Rumour File
Don’t know if this is posted elsewhere, but the roar is reporting unconfirmed noise sources suggesting May is requesting a trade to the dees.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I've got a mate in AFL Media - he was 100% convinced last year that Jesse was off. Seems to me they've recycled the same story again.

Who was our Mr September?
Not Jeffy Garlett. Biggest disappointment of the year for mine.

St Kilda
The 2016 late season loss to Carlton was a shining example of this as well - we were a mathematical chance of the 8 in Roosy's last season and the wheels completely fell off. But we should have beaten the Blues.

Post Match Discussion - Preliminary Final
It’s a long time to same time next year. What a disappointment. Just when you’re looking for anything to try and turn the game in the first half, Viney gets punched in the throat right in frint if Nicholls who ignores it. [censored] I hate that blind/cheating [censored]. i hope he gets the grand final, and does the same poor job. I won’t be watching, couldn’t give a rats arse. Good effort second half boys, you could have taken an early flight but you played for the jumper at least.

MFC - the original owner of the MCG
How the hell did the government sell us shares in Telstra then when we already owned it?

GAMEDAY - Preliminary Final vs Eagles
Love that you provide solid QA on this site PD - even picked yourself up! Dead right too - nobody’s going to give it to us, and it’s not rightfully ours. We have to take it. And then GTFO as quickly as possible.

Jason Taylor getting the nod
JT - you should be knighted for bringing Clarry to our club. You night like to work behind the scenes, but trust me when I say that you are highly recognised and lauded for the good work that you do.
