Good quality control comments from the TV industry expert!

Sam Weideman in the Q1 commentary suggested he’d be running in about a weeks time. Good news.

Melb FC have just posted that up to 50,000 fans will be allowed into the G for Round 1. Might need to prioritise tickets.

On the live stream page, it shows a Match B after this game with 12 players in a 3 quarter game. Dees players include 12. Bedford 16. Laurie 17. Bowey 19. Rosman 22. vandenBerg 27. Nietschke 35. Petty 38. Brown 41. Lockhart 46. Bradtke K. Farmer (triallist) D. Smith (triallist)

But it actually is, Clint.
-
The siren at Casey Fields sounds like Gus the steam shovel from Mr Squiggle.
-
I'm with Clint. For the first time in many seasons, I'm less fussed about the result and keen to see our depth show what they've got. And no injuries....
-
Highly thought of inside the industry. Twill be interesting to see if there’s external visibility on this loss over the course of the year.

PRACTICE MATCH: vs Richmond - Friday 26 February 2021
In Harmes Way replied to Bring-Back-Powell's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm with you there OD. I joined in 2011 because the club needed me. Last year, me and my boy had Trident memberships, which became a $1K+ donation to the club due to COVID. Nothing from the club by way of thanks, I reckon the more members we get, the more they take us for granted. -
Beat me to it Ethan, I was going to ask how to Hotwire an AMG

PRACTICE MATCH: vs Richmond - Friday 26 February 2021

Not sure why there's an AFL Directive to not live stream this game when others are being live streamed (presumably under another AFL directive). -
Somehow I don’t think the club will entertain a question based on the selection of one ex-player in one game

What is your "Go To" Dees Game Highlights Video
In Harmes Way replied to Doug Reemer's topic in Melbourne Demons
That Final vs Adelaide was a ripper, even for a game we lost (still gutted). But I will never forget the elation of the first two finals in 1987. Fell into the finals and absolutely smashed the more fancied Kangaroos and Swans off the park. -

Charlie Spargo showed nothing today that gives me belief in this. Just firing up the usual suspects. -
Missed you around here Ethan

AFLW: Shae Sloane Suffers 3rd ACL
In Harmes Way replied to Demonland's topic in AFLW Melbourne Demons
This is just cruel. I’m devastated for her. -
In determining whether any current players will make the 2000 team of the century, I'm of the view that the selectors will be our great grandchildren and probably not up to date with current talent. They'd probably take one look at the 2010-2020 results and look no further. In evaluating the 1900 team of the century, only two players made the team from pre 1930's (Bert Chadwick and Ivor Warne-Smith, who won two Brownlows). 6 players from the three-peat team 1939-1941 and 11 from the most dominant team of all time in the 50's. More recently than 1965, the selectors picked Hardeman, Flower, Lyon, Stynes and Viney. I'd imagine the 2000 team of the century will have much the same profile, unless we start winning a bunch of flags soon (hoping).
