  1. Another half a dozen inside mids should do it.
  2. Goodwin on May (https://au.sports.yahoo.com/demons-ponder-forwards-set-regain-010729404.html): "He's got the clearance from the surgeon around his eye, so he's really confident in that," Goodwin said. "He's got to get through some concussion protocols in the back end of the week, but he's really confident. "He's trained really strongly through this little period, the last four or five days. "We're confident that he's in a good position and will be available to play and we're going to need Steven. "He's a really good leader for us and they've got some really dominant key forwards in the game."
  3. Redivert Hoddle Street and close Brunton Avenue?
  4. To be fair, we're never going to drop Oscar McDonald again.
  5. Second shelf from the top in the warmer at Maffra Bakery!
  6. Thanks @Drunkn167. Great to hear Dec's killing it. Good golf course in Maffra. And Maffra pies are just about the best in Victoria.
  7. Just watched the Nate Jones press conference at the G for his 300th. The whole club playing list were there in support. It's the little things we're absolutely smashing at the moment. Being there for each other. F'ing awesome.
  8. I was amazed to see Lingers sprint off for a spell on the bench halfway through the last. I thought he might need directions it had been that long
  9. Hi Luci, AFL app under match day, players. Let me know if you have issues
  10. Below shows the heat maps for ANB over the first 5 rounds (Round 5 on the right). 7 inside 50's on Sunday, but almost no presence at all inside forward 50. Most of the heat would be due to the large amount of points we scored and the fact that the resultant kickin went out to this members flank. Rounds 3-4 in particular showed much more of a pressure presence inside 50. I wonder if he has been instructed more to sit a kick behind the play and lock it in (and also create space inside 50 as a result).
  11. Awesome game Jake, you've picked yourself for next week....
  12. Bit harsh OD to be calling poor attendance results when you're steadfastly refusing to go yourself in the current climate, which I totally understand by the way. I'm seeing general attendances around 30-35K at the games I've been too. There was 36,300 at this one, which I thought was about average.
  13. They're all good. Although, I was sitting in P14 yesterday and there are speaker boxes hanging from the stands that obstruct viewing to both scoreboard displays which was a bit frustrating when reviewing replays. We moved after half time to seats around P10, the view was better. (just to get some space, agree with the packed in comments which is just crazy)
  14. I’m not expecting us to win every week, but I’m getting more comfortable in fourth quarters that we will prevail (or at the very least not fall away).
  15. Given that was played for the Beyond Blue cup, you should all call a Haethorn supporter and check they’re OK. And if so, stick it up them
  16. One thing that Fritta has done brilliantly this year is clunking marks inside 50 off strong leads. This allows 30 seconds for the team to setup defensively behind the ball and lock it in should he miss the set shot. I fear we won't mark the ball as frequently in the forward line without him (hope I'm wrong) and that the ball will come out quicker (esp. with CJ). Hopefully with our midfield pressure we can keep the ball forward of centre and others can provide the great leads and strong contested marks that Fritta has brought to the team. Good luck to Petty and Hibbo for their first games this yr. Important in the context of our next 2-3 weeks.
  17. It was in the press at the time, I’m sure you could find an old age article
  18. - And hasn’t lost their voice at the footy so can speak - and is rational after a loss (would rule me out)
  19. I thought we were trading him 2 weeks ago.
  20. Not keen on taking the Astra Zeneca vaccine OD so you can then get to a game?
  21. We've done some cracking Anzac guernseys over the years. Love the continued reference to those Dees players that died in service and defence of our country and allies. Lest we forget. Looking forward to a belter of a game too.
  22. What a great 10 minutes of footy, completely owned them. Ripper of a game. I believe this game produced this one handed beauty of a pickup from Clarry (while we're reminiscing) I'll be delighted if we kick 17 goals 7 this Sunday....
  23. NFI sorry
  24. There’s a big difference between testing your value on the market and seriously contemplating leaving.
  25. All this talk on Kate Roffey’s credentials driving this issue foward - she has been on our board for 7/8 years with exactly the same credentials over that timeframe. Whilst I’m hopeful, I’m not sure her appointment from Vice President to President will dramatically accelerate an outcome here. In fact, it could be argued she had more time to focus on this issue without the broader responsibilities of President.
